Can be used with 5-pole, 6-pole or 7-pole adapters.
Installation: Connection points are located behind the taillights. The 4-Pole flat trailer connector will be stowed in the cargo area when not in use.
Tech Tip: It is always a good idea to apply a small amount of grease to all electrical connections to help prevent corrosion.
Warning:
Overloading circuit can cause fires. Do not exceed lower of towing manufacturer rating or:
  • Max. stop/turn light: (7.5 amps)
  • Max. tail lights: (7.5 amps)

Installed on 2007 Ford FreeStyle AWD SEL. A bit tricky getting the panels off to make the connections, but other than that fairly straightforward. Took about 2 hours total time between reading instructions, looking-up things and getting it installed and wired.27400

Good quality, loved the plug and play no splicing or cutting. Im a mechanic so I hate cutting into factory wires. Only reason I gave this a good rating instead of excellent is I feel the wires should be wrapped in wire loom to prevent chafing of the wire and blowing fuses. Other than that, excellent product. 25057
