Can be used with 5-pole, 6-pole or 7-pole adapters.
Installation: Connection point is located behind the factory installed 7-way trailer connector, or up by the spare tire of the vehicle (GM vehicles only). The 4-pole trailer connector will be stowed under the vehicle close to the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket is recommended.
Tech Tip: It is always a good idea to apply a small amount of grease to all electrical connections to help prevent corrosion.

- Overloading circuit can cause fires. Do not exceed lower of towing manufacturer rating or:
- Max. stop/turn light: (7.5 amps)
- Max. tail lights: (7.5 amps)

For Trucks with a factory installed 7-way trailer connector: This 4 Pole harness plugs into the back of the factory installed 7-way trailer connector attached to the bumper of the vehicle. The factory installed 7-way connector will still work.
- Fits the following vehicles with a factory installed 7-way trailer connector
- 1997-2004 Ford F-150 and F-250 LD (will not fit SuperCrew)
- 2004-2008 Ford F-150
- 1998-2008 Ford Super Duty Pickups
- 1999-2008 GM Full Size Pickups
- 2003 and newer GM trucks do not need the factory installed 7-way connector
- 2004-2008 Nissan Titan
