Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness by Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese
Installation: The connection point on the Suzuki Vitara, Grand Vitara and Chevrolet Tracker is located in the jack storage compartment on the driver's side (the trim panel forward of the jack storage compartment may need to be removed to gain access to the OEM plug). On the Suzuki XL-7, the connection point is located behind the rear trim panel on the driver's side. The 4-pole trailer connector is normally stowed inside the vehicle when not in use, however, it can be routed through the taillight assembly and stowed underneath the vehicle, close to the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket is recommended if you want to stow the 4-way trailer connector next to the hitch.
Tech Tip: It is always a good idea to apply a small amount of grease to all electrical connections to help prevent corrosion.

Today we are working on a 2002 Suzuki XL-7. We will be installing a Tow Ready T-one connector. The part number is 118372. We are going to start by opening the rear door of the vehicle and accessing the luggage compartment. Before we can begin our install, we are going to have to remove the cargo tray here. There are a total of four screws that will need to be removed to make this happen. Now we are going to pull apart these hook and loop fasteners. We will just set the tray to the side for reinstallation later. With the storage compartment out of the way, we are going to go ahead and remove the lower two fasteners here to the trim panel. OK, with those two removed, we will get in behind the trim panel here. With the trim panel pulled back, we can locate the manufacturer towing connector. 0:58
Once you have located the connector you can go ahead and make your connection with your new converter box. Make sure the two connectors are pressed firmly together and in place. We will route the wire of our new 4-pole harness out into the body of the vehicle here where we can access it later. Go ahead and put everything back together. Now let us go ahead and show you the operation of the new Tow Ready connector. Simply raise our compartment door. We will lay it out across the threshold of the vehicle. The weather stripping is thick enough it will not harm our wire. And we can our 4-pole down to our trailer accessory. We will simply close the door. Just stay away from the vehicle latch. And we are ready to use our new 4-pole connector. And that will complete the installation of our new Tow Ready T-one connector, part number 118372.

Awesome!!!
