Can be used with 5-pole, 6-pole or 7-pole adapters.
Installation: Connection points are located behind the vehicle taillights. The 4-pole trailer connector will be stowed inside the rear cargo area when not in use.
Tech Tip: It is always a good idea to apply a small amount of grease to all electrical connections to help prevent corrosion.

- Overloading circuit can cause fires. Do not exceed lower of towing manufacturer rating or:
- Max. stop/turn light: 1 per side (2.1 amps)
- Max. tail lights: (4 amps)

This is a snap to install. The wires are a nice and heavy gauge and the picture on the order page shows you right where the plug is.
I installed and ran everything internally and the Pathfinder just pops apart back there. You can feel the plug for the tail lights on the inside but you'll still have to remove the tail lights like in the picture to actually work the plug.
Once it's done you don't even know anything has changed. The plug and wire store nicely in the hidden storage compartment under the carpet.
I was a little worried that the rear door would pinch or crimp the wires when in use but there is enough gap and insulation around the door that you can't even tell that the back door was closed on it.

After I watched the video installation, I bought this harness for my 99 Pathfinder. I installed it in less than 20 minutes, including finding the tools and putting them back up. Just like the previous poster said, the best way to access the plug is to take out the light and work outside the sheet metal; my hands barely fit up inside the square access panel, but it went just like the video. Thanks for a great product, fast shipping, and excellent support through this website.
