Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness by Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese
Installation: Connection points are located behind the vehicle taillights. The 4-pole trailer connector will be stowed inside the trunk when not in use.
Tech Tip: It is always a good idea to apply a small amount of grease to all electrical connections to help prevent corrosion.

Start by entering the trunk and you want to remove the access panels that allow you access to the rear of the taillights there is one on each side, there are three fasteners holding it on. Once you remove the interior panels pull your carpet back and you need to remove the metal threshold piece as well. There are two fasteners attaching it, and it is just pop riveted on.
Next locate the factory T connector behind each tail light assembly, you have to remove those, and plug the T-One harness in-line. The yellow will go to the driver side and the one with the green wire will go to the passenger side. After you connected the T-connectors into the vehicle, you are going to need to mount the ground screw. You need to find a suitable mounting point somewhere on the body metal of the vehicle. I am going to mount it right here.
Use the provided self tapping screw with the kit. After I drilled the hole, I am going to mount the ground wire. Once you finish mounting the ground screw and connecting the connectors, just put the trunk compartment back together. Here is your finished product it is just going to hang out of the trunk in use.

Trailer Wiring Harness - 1997 Camry - This product has exceeded my expectations. It installed very easily - remove interior trunk panels, unplug tailights, plug in kit, ground, wire tie together. This is a very sturdy wiring kit with clear, easy instructions, so I could do it myself in minutes. In the past I went to a local shop to have trailer wiring installed on my car, I was charged $150. dollars. Etrailer really saved me money.26123

This system was so easy to use it made the wait worthwhile! No splicing of electrical wires just plugged it in and it worked. At one point I was considering hardwiring it BUT Don't. I promise it will be worth your while.I would most definetly recommend this to anyone who might be thinking of alternative routes for wiring. I just can't say enough about this wiring system.
