Installed in less than 30 minutes. Unlike the install instructions, I put the wire through a body plug and routed the wire over the hitch, then zip tied the plug in place. This way I don't need to open the hatch to access the wire and then shut the hatch down on the wire (even though this is acceptable). It's a little cleaner install I think. Product is great, just plug in play really. 17521

Communication was immediate, just the right amount. Shipping was fine, the only thing that would be better is if someone drove it over when you bought it, but then it would be a tad more expensive; I thought the product was a good price for the quality which was very good; Installed in ten minutes tops; plugged in to the trailer worked first time; when the Jeep goes the wiring harness stays with me. Recommend this to anyone and if I need something in the future I will buy from these folks. 17988

This product was pretty easy to install, just like in the video. The trailer hitch itself was a bit less easy, but then again, I did it myself in the driveway with no jack or lift or anything (not even an air ratchet). Anyroad, I have to say that the customer service is absolutely the best I've encountered anywhere. I would highly recommend this company.29507

We'd tried wiring my Cherokee to use the flat-bed trailer of my dad's I just rebuilt (replaced plywood, rustoleum over wire-brushed rust, rewired, new lights, etc). The 1st attempt was through the wiring in each taillight. The trailer lights just didn't work and I didn't want to redo all of the wiring to find it was the Cherokee wiring that was the problem. I searched online, watched your eTrailer.com video for the exact year/type of Jeep I have. Found it simple, clear, and reasuring that even I could do it right. The part arrived, I watched the video again (stopping after each step to do the work) and, hey, it was the trailer wiring but narrowed down so I had less to debug. Fixed the bad connection and all the lights worked right! Looked like Christmas to me. I've now purchased and I've now brought home 2 beautiful leather chairs I found on Craigslist (one for $80, other for $100). Great buys. Thanks, guys, for making the product and having backup instructions to help this gal get the job done. It made it so I could do the whole trailer and wiring by myself. Janice26460

I originally purchased a splice kit and it took my father in law and I a half a day to install it, then my dog chewed it apart a few days later. I purchased the T connector kit as a replacement, it took less than an hour to install. Product is excellent. Installation was straight forward, fast, and easy. Don't waste your time splicing wires, use this product it's worth every penny.9802

Super service and great products This is not the first time I've had the pleasure of dealing with etrailer. Again, I've purchased a 2" hitch receiver (previously for an RV, this time for a Sienna). I also picked up T-One wire harness for 4-pole lights (1 for the Sienna, another for a Jeep). Packaging is designed to withstand the abuse of UPS kicking the things off the truck. I'm not kidding here. Also, somebody clearly tried to reach in through the "handhold' in the carton to purloin one of the wire harnesses. Hahahaha, etrailer had you figured out. It was strapped to the hitch receiver bar, most ingeniously. I hope the dude (or dudette) broke a fingernail in the process (grin). Naturallly, the products go on like applying butter to toast when you buy the correct product for your vehicle. If in doubt, just call etrailer. If they are not perfectly 100% sure, they call the factory! Really cool when you have product shipped to a different state and it's exactly correct when you get there. Well, I once had a shipment direct from the factory that did not have the mounting hardware (just a little oops from the factory, not etrailer's fault). A call to etrailer, who called the factory, and the next day the hardware showed up. Now THAT's great service, and is one of the reasons I only deal with etrailer for stuff like this. I don't bother with local suppliers, because they can't get it any cheaper or faster than etrailer, and when something goes wrong, etrailer is *days* faster in making it whole again. Absolutely a great product! On a different vehicle before, I helped manually install a cheapo generic plug where you have to painstakingly go through a process of elimination to figure out which wires in the vehicle control the left, right, brake lights, etc. and then splice the wiring harness to those wires. Needless to say, when I was shopping for a hitch for my Jeep Cherokee and I saw this product I was very relieved. I watched etrailer's install video which made the installation very straightforward. One thing I recommend if you've got a little extra time when you're installing it and want a neater look than in the video, is to remove the left taillight and leave it hanging. Then pull out the rectangular rubber plug behind it and then pull the cord through that hole, down through the gaping hole between the bumper and the black bumper trim, and then to the right along the underside of the vehicle to where the plug is at about the middle of the Jeep. Then Zip Tie it in a few places to secure it to the frame and make sure to leave some slack so the plug will reach the trailer's plug later on, and put back the taillight. Pros: -Very easy to install: just "plug and play" as opposed to buying a regular wiring plug where you have to sit there and try to figure out which vehicle wire is which and have to splice the wires -Plug has a rubber lid/dust cover -Cord is plenty long enough to run through the hole below taillight and route along underside of Jeep Cons: -It is a little-bit pricey, but I assure you that the work it saves you makes it worth it 3180
