Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness by Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch and Reese
Installation: Connection points are located underneath the truck bed along each frame rail, close to the bumper. The 4-pole trailer connector will be stowed under the vehicle close to the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket is recommended.
Tech Tip: It is always a good idea to apply a small amount of grease to all electrical connections to help prevent corrosion.

Today we are going to install part number 118329 from Tow Ready, and we are going to install this T-1 Connector on a 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup. Now this T-connector will go to two sides of the vehicle. The green wire will go to the passengers side, and the yellow wire will go to the drivers side. This T-connector actually will fit between a connection that is already in the wire harness. It unsnaps, and then this part goes in one and the other half goes into the other. And then the wire comes up from the middle, which makes it a T.
This is going to be our connection point right here, going to the passengers side tail light, so let us just go ahead and disconnect that one. OK, we have got it apart. Snap one half in and the other half back into it. Make sure you click together. And we will do the same thing on the drivers side and disconnect it and hook up our T-connector to that side. We will route the 4-pole by the safety chain loops on the hitch, and then we will go ahead and just take up the rest of our slack. Zip-tie it to wherever we can underneath the vehicle and take up the slack. And next we will go ahead and put some electrical tape around it to help protect it a little bit and make it look a little bit nicer. OK, and we will reroute our wires back across the chain loop, and we are finished with our install. All right, and there you have it for part number 118329 from Tow Ready.
