Can be used with 5-pole, 6-pole or 7-pole adapters.

Installation: Connection point is located in jack storage compartment on drivers side of vehicle. The 4-pole trailer connector will be stowed in the jack storage compartment when not in use.

Tech Tip: It is always a good idea to apply a small amount of grease to all electrical connections to help prevent corrosion.

Warning:
Overloading circuit can cause fires. Do not exceed lower of towing manufacturer rating or:
  • Max. stop/turn light: (7.5 amps)
  • Max. tail lights: (7.5 amps)

  • Installation of T-1 Vehicle Wiring Harness on 1991 Ford Explorer
  • The T-1 Connector would plug inline into the wiring harness leading to the rear tail light assemblies. This harness is located in the jack storage compartment. Locate the wiring harness connector, and disconnect it. One end of the T-1 harness would plug into each end of the harness you have disconnected. This will create a bit of slack in the wiring harness.
