The connectors and wire seem to be of good quality. The connectors fit well and the wire lengths were sufficiently long. I have not used it with a trailer yet; I just checked the wiring using a 12-volt test light. I do not expect any problems in actual use. I thought the instructions could have been better. One thing that wasn’t clear is that after removing the screws holding the taillights in place you need to gently pry out the forward part of the taillight assemblies to finish removing them. (I used a plastic putty knife.) There was no mention of installing the ground wire – it’s white with a ring-lug installed on the end of it. (I suggest mounting it to the double-wall area of the rear body panel just to the right of the rear-hatch latch. It took about an hour to install and most of that was the time required to remove and replace the trim pieces. As always, use great care when removing trim to avoid damaging the trim or the mounting “pins”.
