Today we are going to be installing wiring harness part number 118303 on a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica. Okay, we are at the rear of the vehicle, and we are going to go ahead and locate the attaching points for our wiring harness. The attaching points are actually located directly behind the tail lights. So the first thing we need to do is go ahead and remove both of those. To do that, we just need to remove the two screws here on the inboard side, and then we will just pull the tail light assembly away.
Okay, and with the tail light assembly removed, you can see right here, this is the connection point where we are going to be plugging our T-harness in line. So you want to go ahead and disconnect these two. First you need to take this red push tab, slide it over, and pull the two pieces apart. Then we are going to take our wiring harness and we are going to start by feeding the connector here, with the green and white wires - we are actually going to drop that down into the hole in between the bumper and the body of the vehicle. And that is actually going to be routed over to the passenger's side. And we are also going to feed the 4-pole down through the same opening. And that is going to leave our Modulite box, our power wire, and our set of connectors with the yellow and red and brown wires over here on the driver's side. We want to go ahead and connect the T-connect portion into the vehicle harness. And we definitely want to make sure we relock the locking tab. We want to mount the Modulite box here on the back side of the body panel. And you can see there is double-sided tape here. I am just going to clean off a little bit of the area, pull away the sticker, and attach it right there. We want to go ahead and pull the grommet out that our wires are coming through. And, if you see, if we pull that back just a little bit - there is another wire here that is taped to this wiring harness, just inside there. That is actually our connector that we are going to be connecting our power wire to. As you can see, there is foam tape that is holding that in place there. I am just going to remove some of the foam tape here, and then go ahead and make our connection. Since this wiring is going to be coming out in this area, we want to make a little slice here in the grommet so that the wire can easily come through. You want to make sure that your fuse is in your fuse holder. And then we can go ahead and reattach our tail light assembly.
Okay, now we want to go down under the bumper, where we had dropped our wires for the passenger's side and the 4-pole as well, and we are going to route it across to the passenger's side tail light assembly. In order to try to avoid the exhaust as much as possible, what I am going to do is actually run a piece of light-gauge wire from the inboard side and just feed it through, over to where the wires are at now. And I just pull that down there. What I am going to do is just go ahead and tape my T-connector here to it. And this is just going to help me fish it through that tight space there. And I am going to attach my 4-pole to it as well. We want to make sure we pull through all the remaining slack And, again, I am just going to tie off the 4-pole here at the trailer hitch. We can tie up our excess wire later. We are going to continue on. And, again, I am going to feed the T-connector through the opening in between the bottom of the bumper and the body over here on the passenger's side over the exhaust. And now that I have got the connector routed in between the bumper and the body, I am going to go ahead and feed it up through the opening in the body, up to the tail light assembly on the passenger's side. And we are just going to go ahead and make our connections like we did on the driver's side. All right, and now we are going to back under the bumper area and secure all the loose wires that we have left over.
Lastly, on model years 2004 through 2006 we need to put the 20-amp fuse in, in the fuse block under the hood. It is in position Number 10, and it is labeled "Trailer Tow/Spare." On the 2007 models, it is already equipped. And this will conclude the installation of wiring harness part number 118303 on a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica.

So far great. Installed within 20 mins. Easy. The videos your web site had showing the install were great. Just as shown. There are cheaper general one size fit all products out there, but this was well worth the extra money for the exact product. Will try it out in a few days when I go getthe boat. Thanks for the great service. 28479

Again, the video on the etrailer.com web site was instrumental. The only hard part was getting the power connector out from behind the grommet. 20141

Customer service was excellent - I had mistyped my address - somehow one letter was duplicated - it took a great deal of attention to detail to discover - On reviewing the order I noticed the mistake and called the next morning and the mistake was already corrected. Video instructions were also provided by WEB. With the video resources we all have today it should have been the standards 5 years ago - I applaud etrailer for the foresight to set the standard.19873
