Today we are going to show you Ericsons Cargo Control Cargo bar with ratchet system, part number 08908. Today we have a 2012 Silverado with an 8 foot bed, and were going to show you how to install and use the control bar. The bar is a universal fit item. It will work with all vans, trucks, mini vans and sport utility vehicles. It can be adjusted from 40 in length to 70 in length without using any tools. The cushion, no slip, rubber pads on end not only keep the cargo bar in place, but it also protects the vehicles surface.
Now we will go ahead and hop in the bed of the truck and show you how it works. We have a cooler in the bed of our pickup truck, and we are going to set it all the way up at the front of the bed. To prevent it from sliding around in the truck while we drive we are going to install the Ericson Cargo Bar. First we will take one end of the bar and place it against the drivers side of our bed, and then we will extend it to the passengers side. We will then use the ratchet system to put enough tension on it to hold it in place.

I owned this product before and it is an excellent product. It can be adjusted to fit anywhere in the bed of the truck and installs in seconds. It is much better than the usual 2x6 in the bed and less costly then the OEM cargo divider. eTrailer customer service was excellent, they upgraded my shipping at no extra cost and I received the Cargo Bar within 3 days. My order was processed with one hours and was shipped within 3 hours. I was notified by email on the status of my order every step of the way. Great product and Outstanding customer service.
