Erickson Car Tie Down with Ratchet
Used for securing a vehicle to the bed of a truck or trailer. Twisted flat hooks help keep the strap straight and flat. You no longer need to twist the strap to secure the hook to the tie-down. Use part 58505 or 88509 to wrap around the vehicle axle.

I was surprised by the weight and obvious strength of the tie downs. Surely one would expect equipment with a 10K pound rating to be substantial, but these look like they'd secure a locomotive. The four of them should have no problem holding a 4,000 car in place in a trailer, and now I have even more faith in the Erickson brand name. A little care, and attention to correctly attaching them, and they should last a lifetime.9501
