- You can use the longer, 58" Yakima cross bars # Y00409 on your 1999 Toyota Rav4, but you will need to be conscious of the additional length that will be coming off either side of your vehicle roof.
We do not offer the longer cross bars in a package and cannot make substitutions, so you would need to place an order for all the items individually. You would need two of the Q Clips # Y00632 and the # Y00124 roof rack feet in addition to the 58" bars.

- You are correct, the factory crossbars on a 2008 Chevy Trailblazer are not compatible with Yakima or Thule Kayak carriers. I do have a solution for you though. You can add the following Thule parts to add some compatible crossbars:

Thule load bars # THLB50
Then, with this rack installed, you can use a Thule kayak carrier like the Stacker, # TH830.
