These steel load bars attach to Thule roof-rack feet to create a sturdy, convenient roof-mounted rack. Durable plastic coating resists corrosion and provides cushion for your load. Accomodates accessories that clamp around bars.

- Since you are not adverse to drilling your vehicle roof and your camper shell I would recommend going with a Thule Podium Roof Mounted Foot Pack. You can use the square load bars, # THLB58, with the # TH460 Foot Pack or the Rapid Aero Load Bars, # THARB60, with the # TH460R Foot Pack.
To mount the foot packs to the sheet metal roof on your 2006 Toyota Tundra you will need the Thule direct mount system # THKIT3114, which does require drilling into the roof of your vehicle.

- I went out into our showroom and measured the dimensions of a set of Thule square bars like the part # THLB58 and found that they are 7/8 of an inch by 1-1/4 inches.

- You can use a fairing with the Thule crossbars on your 1998 Jeep Cherokee. You will want to measure the distance between the feet where they attach to the bar to get the correct size. - I checked with Thule and if your 2007 Jeep Wrangler has a hard top you will need the following parts:
Load Bars, # THLB58
Gutter Feet, # TH300
You can then install the Ascent 1600 cargo box, # TH604.
If you have a soft top, there is a roof rack, # B4141601, but it is so far to the rear of the vehicle and the bars are so close together that you would not be able to safely mount a cargo box.
