Roof Rack Includes:
Part Numbers: SR1002
Economically priced, removable roof rack clamps to your vehicle's naked roof. The square, steel crossbars can accommodate a variety of accessories such as bike racks, ski carriers and cargo baskets. Included locks secure the rack to your roof.
This semi-custom SportRack roof rack easily installs on your vehicle's bare roof so you can carry extra cargo to your next destination. Adjustable, rotating footpads combine with an easy-to-use numbering system to make the rack conform to your roof for a good fit.
A unique numbering system is inscribed on the crossbars to aid in installation. This system corresponds to numbers noted in the easy-to-read application guide. First, find the number indicated for your car, and then slide the roof-rack feet along the crossbars until they line up with the appropriate number for your application. Tighten the feet in place with the included Allen wrench.
Refer to the application guide to find specific measurements that allow you to properly position the rack on your roof. To begin installing the roof rack on your vehicle, open the passenger's- and driver's-side doors. Place the front crossbar first, and make sure that the screws that hold the clamps in the roof-rack feet are loose before positioning the feet on your roof.
Before attaching the clamps to the door jambs and tightening them down, you need to make sure that the feet and pads are oriented correctly. The bottom of each foot can be rotated to better fit the slope of your roof. Make sure that the feet are sitting flush against the roof.
Once the feet are properly positioned, attach the clamps to the door jambs and tighten via the screws in the feet. After the front crossbar is positioned, review the instructions for the measurements needed to place the rear crossbar and repeat the same process for that crossbar.
Once everything is tightened down, place the locking covers over the feet to deter theft of the rack.

Love it... It was simple to install and it also works like a CHAMP! 85444
Took longer than expected (11 days) for the roof rack to show up but once it did I had it installed on my 07 Prius in about a 1/2 an hour . The quality far exceeded my expectations ! Seems to be comprable to a Thule rack at about half the price . Makes a little noise at highway speed but not too bad . I think I'll skip the fairing . Very pleased !80114

Do not fit well especially with the heat. The rubber heats up and does not stay put. Actually one of the rubber pieces on the rack that connect to the bar popped out where it's rather cheaply pieced together. These connectors actually damaged the plastic like resin or coating the car has on the upper part of my doors when I clamped them down. They don't hold well at all and I spent the entire trip worrying I was going to lose everything. Any undue pressure to like using tie downs and they pop right out of place. GEEZ91864

It came exactly as advertised and was easy to install. I was worried as I had a Prius with a sunroof and solar panel. No problem. Though I had to adjust from the recommended settings, it fit firmly and snuggly and easily holds my kayaks.84808

This rack is made by Thule and the quality is solid and the price about 1/2 of a Thule. The directions could be better - the bolt under the lock needs to be backed off all the way and the mount giggle a little to get it to conform to the roof lines on the Prius. Other than that, very easy to install with the included allen wrench. The rack feels like it's welded to the roof - I can grab it and shake the car. etrailer has EXCELLENT sales support and follow through - really top of the line!91879

Very quick shipment. Directions were summarized very well. I mounted the racks on my 2001 Malibu according to the dimensions supplied and the racks fit very well. Looks like a great product at a reasonable price.100075

So far so good. I have installed the rack already. I use it for my 16ft. ladder and it works great so far. We will see how it holds up when I get my 28 ft ladder. That it what I bought it for. 96739

The Sportrak fit my Mercedes perfectly and has provided the base for my Malone Kayak carrier. It appears to be very solid and well made. Thanks.85385
