Can the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent be Installed in a 1 Inch Thick Roof
After inspecting roof vent # V2094SP-30 and the included bezel, I have come to the conclusion that you would just need to trim 13/16 of an inch off the bezel on the end that sticks into the vent. This should allow you to flush mount the vent and bezel in your 1 inch thick roof. I also recommend installation kit # RVIKIT100 which comes with the hardware and silicone needed for installation.

How To Replace Damaged Roof Vent Cover Using Replacement Dome Assembly # BVD0449-A03
To remove the damaged vent cover, remove the connection to the actuating strut, so the cover can tilt all the way upwards. To do this, you will need to remove the interior screen, the knob and the interior trim piece. Then, remove the two screws that hold the actuating arm in place, which will allow the actuating arm to be slid out of its track on the cover. Does Ventline Powered Roof Vent V2128-611-00 Run Off of Household AC Power
Because the Ventline fan # V2128-611-00 is 115 volt, it would have to run off of AC power (110 volt shore power). This item is normally found on larger motor homes and will run when connected to shore power or when using a generator. Because the motor is an AC motor, you cannot reverse the polarity and run the motor the other direction. It only runs one way.

Replacement vent covers are very specific in terms of what vents they will fit. Metal cover # BV0534-00 is designed to fit Ventline Ventadome roof vent model V2110. How to Replace the Screen on Ventline Vanair Trailer Vent # VP-543SP
You can replace the screen on Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent, # VP-543SP, in a few easy steps. Make sure that the screws that hold on the handle are exposed. Remove them and then the handle. Next unscrew the small black piece that holds the switch to the screen assembly. Then remove the 2 screws holding on the screen and pull out the screen. Reverse the process to put in the new screen. Can Rain Get Into the Ventline Powered Vanair Trailer Roof Vent # VP-543SP
It is not likely but possible for rain to get into the vent when it is open. The outer lid overlaps the lower housing so water would have to come in sideways (if parked level) for it to get in. Also if the trailer is parked on an incline, the angle required to enter in the vent would not be as severe so you just have to plan accordingly. For installation we recommend using install kit # RVIKIT100.

Does the Replacement Screen # BVC0573-31 Have a Knockout for Installing a Fan Switch
As long as your existing vent is part # V2092, V2110, V2094 or V2119, the replacement screen you mentioned would work great for you. As you can see in the photo I edited for you, the screen frame does feature a knockout that can be removed so that the switch like part # BL0108-00 may be installed.

Is the Fan in the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent Reversible
The fan itself only fits onto the motor one way. If you wanted to reverse the rotation of the fan you would need to switch the positive and negative leads on the back of the motor. I tried this with just the motor and it will reverse the rotation. However, since the fan can only be put on one way and the blades are at a fixed angle, reverse the motor direction will also reverse the air flow direction.

Installing Roof Vent Gasket # BVD0455-01
The seal will push right on, but I would recommend using a few dots of adhesive to secure the seal in place. I would not recommend using a super glue, as it can melt plastics and weld things together. A few small dabs of silicone sealant would be enough to ensure that the seal stays in place. The seal should be installed so that the rib you speak of is on the outside of the vent.

The replacement fan blade, # BVD0215-00, does just push onto the shaft of the motor. It is a tight fit so it does not need any additional fasteners. There are some grooves in the shaft, see picture, that allow it to grip the fan.

I would not recommend leaving Ventline Vanair Roof Vent with Fan, # VP-543SP, open when traveling down the highway because the fan and electric motor would be exposed to the elements. You would not want any dirt, rain or any other type of debris to get inside of the vent and ruin the fan. I spoke with my contact at Ventline and he said structurally the vent can be left open when traveling, but the fan and electric motor would be at risk.
