Can the Trailer Valet Move a 4,000 Pound Trailer Up a Small Incline
You should not have a problem moving your 4,000 pound trailer up a small incline using the Trailer Valet, # STC-V211. It has a 5,000 pound capacity and 500 pound tongue weight capacity. The Valet has 2 gears and depending on the degree the incline is you might find that the low or high gear is better suited for that particular incline. On the Trailer Valet, # STC-V211, the top gear is the high gear and requires less effort to turn the handle but moves the wheels slower. The bottom gear is low gear, requires more effort to turn the handle, but moves the wheels faster. If the tires are slipping then first go to high gear to move the wheels slower. I spoke to my contact at Trailer Valet to get specifics on the tires supplied with Trailer Valet Swivel Jack and Trailer Mover, part # STC-V211. The dual tires measure approximately 9 inches by 2-1/2 inches (this will vary slightly depending on tire pressure). The tires are tubed and are usually shipped with about 50 psi pressure. Can Wheel and Jack on Trailer Valet be Easily Removed To Tow a Trailer and Reduce Tongue Weight
We have a Trailer Valet set up on a trailer outside so I went out to test it. You can remove the jack and valet part from the mounting bracket that attaches to the trailer. I had to jack it up using the Trailer Valet, slip under a jack stand, and lower the trailer on the jack stand. Then I just raised the jack a little, pulled the pin, and the whole unit can slide off. Does the Trailer Valet Trailer Jack Work On Grass
The dual 9 inch diameter wheels on the Trailer Valet, # STC-V211, will work well in grassy terrain. You can switch between a high and low gear for the best results on different terrain. We have not had any complaints regarding the use of the trailer valet # STC-V211 on any specific brand of trailer. To determine fit you can measure the available space on your trailer. The mounting bracket on the trailer valet takes up 8 inches of space. If this will not work, take a look at the Rackem trailer dolly, # RA20. It has a 500 pound tongue weight capacity and two 13 x 4 inch tires spaced 24 inches apart and would be a good alternative if the trailer valet will not fit.

However, I feel that it would fair well because the dual wheels provide a wide surface area and the wheels are not hard plastic so they can move over a little rougher terrain than your average jack wheel.
