Since u-bolt # 1753223 is for trailer suspension and u-bolt kit # SPTH01 is the specific kit for Thule bars on the SportsTrailers, you should go with # SPTH01. However, if u-bolt # SPTH01 measurements will fit the trailer then there is no reason why you couldnt use it. It has an inside width of 1-1/2 inches by 5 inches and has a 1/2 inch diameter.

I spoke with one of our friends at Magneta Trailers, who told me that an 8 foot extension is not available. He went on to say that using the 6 foot extension, part # RRTX6 along with the 2 foot extension, part # RRTX2 would work just fine for you. I have had the chance to look through the packaging and while the Magneta Low-Profile Trailer, # UMCT1XHD-AM31985, is a complete trailer, it also requires assembly as you have indicated. The main body of the trailer comes in parts that easily bolt together with hand tools. You will also need to bolt on the fenders, leaf springs, axle, the coupler to the tongue, and install the lights. The tires and wheels are already mounted.
