Expert Answers about Blaylock Industries

  • Can the Blaylock EZ Hitch Guide be used with a Fifth Wheel Hitch
  • Yes, the Blaylock EZ Hitch Guide, # BLEZ-200, will work with a fifth wheel hitch. Check out the photo that I attached with this guide being used for a gooseneck hitch. The same concept will be used with a fifth wheel hitch, but the angle and height of the mirror will need to be adjusted so you can see the king pin and the hitch jaw. You will need a metal surface such as a toolbox or truck bed side rail to mount the mirror on because it uses a magnet to hold it in place.

  • Coupler Lock for a UFP A-60 Boat Trailer Actuating Coupler
  • From what I was able to find in the research I did, the recommended lock for a UFP A-60 coupler is a simple pin design, # 28012. This should prevent the handle from operating while the lock is in place (basically used in place of the pin. The difference is that this pin includes a lock). In my research I found that locks like # BLTL-33 are not considered a fit.

  • What is the Maximum Lift of the Blaylock EZ Jack and Wheel Chock for Tandem-Axle Trailers
  • With the # EZ-JACK curved upward the height is 6 inches like you have said. But with the curve down you can get a little more height. I went out to the warehouse to measure it and came up with an overall height of 7-3/8 inches at the highest point with the # EZ-JACK curve facing down. This aluminum jack would be an excellent replacement for wooden ramps. It will last much longer and it is corrosion resistant. I would not say they nest particularly well. We store them kind of like spoons in a

  • Availability of Replacement Keys for Blaylock Total Encasement Trailer Coupler Lock # BLTL-22
  • Although we can obtain replacement keys from Blaylock, we do not have extra keys on hand to ship out with the product. Your best bet would be to have some duplicates made locally by a locksmith. When you receive the lock, be sure to record the key number and keep it in a safe place.

  • Recommended Gooseneck Coupler Lock for 2007 Legend Trailer
  • We have had good luck with the Master Lock Universal Heavy-Duty Coupler Lock, part # 2989AT. The unique design of the lock allows it to be used on many different fifth wheel, gooseneck and lunette ring couplers. The lock could also be used along with the # BLTL-51 Set Screw Lock you referenced to protect the coupler from being removed. Keep in mind, locks are for keeping honest folks honest. Any lock can eventually defeated if the thief is determined enough. The idea is to provide deterren

  • Will a Blaylock EZ Lock for Set Screws on Gooseneck Couplers Fit a Square Bulldog Trailer Coupler
  • The Blaylock EZ Lock, # BLTL-51, should work fine with a square Bulldog gooseneck coupler like # BD0289800300, # BD0289600300, or # BD028900. Provided the coupler that you have uses set screws to hold the inner tube in place, this lock will prevent anyone from tampering with the set screws to release the inner tube. You could use # BLTL-53-40D2. This comes with the set screw lock, the coupler lock for the bottom of the coupler, and 2 padlocks.

  • How Does Gooseneck Trailer Lock, # EZTL50-40D, Attach to a Gooseneck Coupler
  • Basically, the Gooseneck Trailer Lock, # EZTL50-40D, sandwiches around the bottom of the gooseneck coupler on the trailer. The two hooks that look like duck heads go over the lip on one side and then you hold it up flat against the bottom of the coupler, and then you insert the pin that will be over the lip on the other side of the coupler.

  • The only Fifth Wheel pin locks that we have that can be ordered keyed alike are the CT Johnson DeadBolt 5th Wheel Trailer King Pin Lock, item # KPL. • Can the EZ-Jack be Used on a Triple Axle Trailer
  • I spoke with my contact at EZ-Jack and he says that to use the EZ-Jack on a triple axle trailer you will need to turn the curve up, opposite the wheel, and drive up on the jack and you will be able to change the tires. Other wise a floor jack and jack stands are the safest way to service trailer axles.
