SUBJECT/Summary: Use Safety Chain bracket kit 50223 with Above-Bed Goosenecks
PROBLEM: The 58079, 6002 and 49080 have safety chain attachments built into them but we have found that New York and Washington law states: "Means of attachment shall not be common with or utilize fasteners common with ball or coupling."
SOLUTION: While this is written for RV trailer couplers on bumper style trailers, it may be applied to Gooseneck trailers. In this case Chain Bracket kit 50223 can be used to meet the law. For all other states these Cequent products are fully compliant with State law.
