  • Comparing the Various Wiring Options to Flat Tow a 2012 Honda CR-V
  • First, if you are going to be towing the CR-V frequently a more permanent solution for lighting is more ideal. The bulb and socket kit would be my first choice (# RM-155) because you do not have to cut into the vehicle wiring and it is easier to install. If you do not want to drill into the back of the tail light housing but are not opposed to tapping into the vehicle wiring, you can use a diode kit # 154-792-118158. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.
