I rate etrailer.com as excellent in their service. I placed my on-line order for a trailer hitch for my 2006 Ford Ranger and it was shipped the following day with an email to me advising of the shipping and with a tracking number where I was easily able to find out the exact delivery date….and it arrived on that day as promised. The installation was as advertised and it took me just less than 30 minutes to install the trailer hitch. This included the time it took to gather the few tools I needed and lower the spare tire out of the way. While it would have been slightly easier if I had help holding up the hitch to install the nuts, I did the installation by myself by using blocks of wood to support the hitch on one side while I attached the nuts on the other side. Piece of cake! As a side note….Last year I had a hitch installed on my van conversion and it cost me close to $300.00 same type of bolt on hitch. They charged me $200.00 for the hitch and $100.00 to bolt it on. With the cost of this hitch $155.00 and my installation time I calculate that I made approx $150.00 dollars in a half-hour by purchasing the hitch from etrailer.com and installing the hitch myself. Now if I could do this for a living……..

Web site was easy to use in locating the hitch I needed for my 2008 Jeep Liberty, the price was less than what I found on other sites. The shipping was great timing and not too mention @ no cost. It took my son & I approximately 10 minutes to install with everything fitting perfectally. I purchased the wiring harness which was very simple to connect with reading and following instructions. With the long wire running to the battery which was the hardest part if you want the job done right but even so the hitch and harness took approximately 40 minutes. After shopping around a bit I called eTrailer. She explained a few options to where I could make a decision. I truly did NOT want that ugly black piece of steel under my rear bumper from left to right. She know that to and I didn’t have to tell her. I continued shopping and found better prices – BUT – it was a lesser product or lesser quality. I didn’t find a better deal. I called eTrailer back. I asked 2 or 3 questions which lead me to the same decision – Class II Hidden Hitch. Hidden is the key here. You see no ugly black bar. None. Installation?? Follow the instructions – in order! If I had done that I would have had the hitch installed in the 60 minutes posted on the web. The wiring harness with computer was not bad but took a bit longer. Okay, I’m picky. Every wire has to be just right. The only difficult part was running the hot wire from the battery to the wiring harness computer in the trunk. I am very happy with my hitch and eTrailer. They really know hitches.

Finding etrailer.com was a pleasant surprise and definitely solved a trailer hitch problem for my neighbor. On Saturday 5/2 I stopped by my neighbors shop and found him wondering what he could do to get a hitch for his 07 SUV. The local supplier of hitches and hitch parts did not even show the hitch in their catalog, and to make it even more difficult, the hitch had to be installed not later than Thursday 5/7 for a trip beginning early 5/8. I went to my office and entered hitches along with the model of his SUV, on my computer and to my surprise, etrailer came up showing no less than FOUR different models to choose from. The hitch from etrailer came via UPS on Wednesday 5/6, along with the wiring kit. Everything fit perfect, and the SUV was ready to go a day early. PROBLEM SOLVED!

The whole experience was painless, from ordering the parts, delivery of parts, to the installation of parts. Ordering was as easy as one, two three with the step by step procedure put in place you couldn’t go wrong. I had my doubts about the installation though I thought for sure I would have to do some drilling or make a modification of some kind, in order for it to fit properly, but no it was as smooth as silk. All the bolts lined up and I had the hitch installed in approximately thirty minutes. Upon completion of the hitch installation I connected the wiring harness, and tested the lights and I was done all under an hour, including clean up. Thank you for a this smooth experience. Just about every install has at least one thing you have to deal with, but not this one, I cant remember the last job that went together this easy.

I purchased the hidden hitch for my Toyota Highlander 2007. After arriving exactly when it said it would, I reviewed the video you had online. The hitch took me approx 20 minutes to install and was so easy! I then went to look for the wiring harness and found that there was none. After talking with Toyota they informed me that the trailer harness was not part of the Tow Package and that I could get them to put one in for me for $175. I duly hung up on them, and came straight back to your website. Again you came through for me with instructions on how to fit the harness yourself. I purchased the appropriate harness from etrailer, and sure enough, after arriving within days, it took me around 15 minutes to install and cost me $30. Thanks guys - one very satisfied customer.

This was my third order w/etrailer. They have EXCELLENT customer service, answered all my questions VERY fast. They e-mailed me as my order made it through their process and got shipped. The ground delivery was actually too fast. I placed order on Sunday expecting it to take over a week, it shipped out on Monday and the hitch arrived on Thursday while I was away on vacation, luckily my meighbor held it for me. Everything was packaged in the box very well so nothing got damaged in shipping. Only very minor glitch was they included directions for a different car, no big deal because I could download directions from the site anyways, and view a video showing how to install I wish other internet companies could run this well. I ordered a hitch on Monday night, and by Thursday it was here in North Carolina. I found the installation to be quick and it took me only 40 minutes to put it on I took a couple of breaks to think out the installation process. I have a little tip I would like to share. I tied on some fishing line to the wire guide and used needle nose pliers to find the fishing line and pull the wire through the cross bar. That was the easiest way to install the hitch with the spare tire on and using a creeper. You guys are awesome. Thanks!!

I ordered the custom fit fifth wheel frame mount and rails for my 2007 HD2500 Chevy crewcab short bed truck and had it at my house in 3 days. That was amazing. I also ordered the custom wiring harness for my truck but the mounting self tapping screws that came with the plug where not long enough to go through the plug cover much less the bed wall. Other than that it took longer to remove the heat shield than it did to install the hitch. The frame brackets fir perfectly and the dimensions given with the installation instructions allowed the bed rail holes to line up with out any problem. I will order form etrailer again and have recommended etrailer to a lot of my friends. Cant wait for Thursday to get here so I can hook up my fifthe wheel and get out in the open air and kick back and enjoy the good times.

Just a note to let you know that my hitch arrived quickly and with the help of a friend, I got it mounted to my A6 Audi yesterday. If I would have identified ALL the bolts holding the bumper to the car, I would have had it installed faster. Anyway, if someone is an Audi owner and was told by Audi that a hitch is about $6-700 to buy and install, they are robbing you. Do it yourself.

On March 3, just two days ago, I ordered a trailer hitch, drawbar and wiring harness for a Toyota Corolla from etrailer.com. That was only two days ago.....this is March 5. The stuff came today and I have the hitch bolted on my car and the wiring harness already installed. Talk about fast shipping......I nearly received it before I ordered it. I ordered standard 7 day shipping UPS but etrailer.com upgraded the shipping to 3-5 days at no extra cost. I got it in two days. The hitch, which I had installed in about 15 minutes, fit perfectly with no drilling or fitting. The wiring harness took a little longer because it takes a while to figure out how to disconnect the electrical plugs that go to the tail lights. If you have a tendency to cuss, those plugs will make you say a few choice words. I think etrailer.com is probably the best online vendor I have dealt with and I will certainly buy from them again if I need something they sell. Good prices, great emails, excellent customer service and lightning fast shipping, you cant do any better than that. Thank you etrailer.com.

etrailer seems to be an excellent company to do business with. Delivery took 1 week from day of order which was quite reasonable. The hitch was truly a custom hitch for my car and fit perfect. Installation time quoted was 1 hour which must apply to experienced mechanics only. Working slow and careful I took 3 hours which I feel is good for amateur mechanics. Only problem I had was with plastic rivets. Hard to get out and impossible to put back in. I would definitely recommend this way to go to any friends needing a hitch on a small foreign car.

Order was processed quickly and follow-up confirmation emails arrived promptly. Upon arrival the hitch was complete with all necessary hardware and it fit perfectly. Took about an hour to install. The most difficult part is detaching the rubber muffler hangers from the muffler hooks. Spray WD-40 or silicone to help ease them off and on.

So every time I need something to build or repair a trailer, or I need accessories for towing, I check out etrailer. I have friends who build trailers for all kinds of use, and they do the same. Never a bad word. If they say they have it in stock they do and it leaves there is a hurry. Price wise, they are hard to beat by anybody who is legit. Others might say they beat the price, but then you find out it is back ordered or not really what you thought you were going to get. Looking at a lot of sites for a trailer hitch & wiring, eTRAILER.com was the only one to specifically address the issues re: my 2000 Volvo V40. They were the only site to tell me the V40 wiring could not handle a trailer circuit without the modulite kit. I have had some difficulty finding a proper hitch for a Jeep Cherokee and had obtained costs through various suppliers. I then recalled that many years ago, I had purchased several hitches which were of the brand name, draw tite. I had this particular brand of hitch put on several of my vehicles over the years and used them without incident to primarily tow boats to the local lake. I went to the internet and entered draw tite tow hitches in one of the search engines. I had no idea if this particular company was still in business or if this brand of hitch was still available. The returns directed me to etrailer.com. In looking through the product line I found the desired hitch and accompanying wiring harness at a price considerably lower than those quoted from other sources. I received free shipping and even obtained an upgrade in shipping. To my surprise the items purchased were also shipped the same day I placed my order. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the level of customer service I received and will etailer.com will certainly be one of the first places I check for future towing needs.

The installation videos are outstanding. Being able to see the job done before you even start is a tremendous help. And you cant beat free shipping. I bought 3 hitches on seperate occasions from eTrailer and will do so again for my next one.

I ordered a Hidden Hitch trailer hitch and wiring harness on Sunday. Received the shipment in 3 days on Wednesday. Held he hitch up to the frame, my grandson started the bolts, torqued the bolts, mounted the 7 and 4 way trailer connector, plugged it in to the wiring harness, installed 2 relays provided. Was complete in less than an hour. Order was delivered fast, equipment ordered was very good quality, installation was easy and fast. Thanks for you help.
