My shopping experience with E-trailer was totally satisfactory. I wanted bolt-on hitch receivers for each of our cars, and a hitch-mounted bike carrier for our two bicycles. The Hitch Hunter search found exactly the right hitches for our cars, and their extensive inventory of bike carriers from several manufacturers made it possible to the perfect carrier for our situation. An e-mailed question about fitting was answered accurately the very next day. My order was processed immediately, and all items were shipped and delivered on-schedule. I found the how-to-install video clips on E-trailers web site to be a huge help much better than the manufacturers printed installation instructions. I have ordered 4 hitches and other tow related items prior to this order, and I must say, it has been great, always instock and quick to recieve. Top brand hitches, easy ordering/shipping, the hitches, easy to install with great instructions. This time I needed a brake controller for my f-150,2001, I even got the electrical adapter for under the dash and again, good instructions, took me about 10 mins, even a rocket scientist can do it, this was so helpful, ordered late 10-16, was at my door 10-22, regular ship. The back lights went on slick as anything.The LEDs are much brighter than the old bulbs. The spare tire holder I had to modify as I didnt want it to hang from the roof. I cut off the hook and mounted it to the front wall, no problem. They arrived when I was told they would, in good condition. I will buy from them again.

I am very impressed with the overall quality of the product. Note that the install on an X-Runner takes more time due to having to remove the cross beem and reinstall after installation of the hitch is complete. Only negative : did not order hitch bar due to lack of information on the resulting hitch height when installed on the vehicle. It seemed that the recommended hitch bar would be too high. Now it looks like it might be about right.
