Edge Products Power Modules, Monitors, In-Cab Controllers, Injectors, and GPS
- More Horsepower
- More Torque
- Firmer Shifts
- Better Fuel Economy
- Superior Engine Protection
- More Fun to Drive
With Edge Products performance enhancing chips, modules and monitors you get all of these great features in one easy to install package. Some of the monitors will allow you to test 0-60 and quarter mile times, remove the speed limiter, read and clear diagnostic codes, adjust power levels on the fly, use TOMTOMŪ GPS navigation, view what's behind the truck with a built-in back up camera, replace gauges, and much, much more...
Power - Edge Products plug-in modules are designed to create power where you need it most. By carefully monitoring the RPM timing, turbo boost and fueling parameters, Edge modules maximize engine efficiency through fueling and timing enhancements. Edge modules are fully adjustable and come with at least three separate power levels to choose from. Typical improvements range from 40 to 150 horsepower and 100 to 350 foot pounds of torque. Furthermore, Edge products greatly improve throttle response, so you feel the power when you need it.
Towing - A typical diesel truck, towing the average hill, will be able to go ten to twelve miles an hour faster with an Edge module installed. That means no more flashers in the slow lane. It also means no more annoying down shifts on every little hill.
Mileage - Because a properly tuned engine is more efficient, Edge modules can produce mileage gains of about ten percent. A ten percent gain can translate into savings of hundreds of dollars per year in fuel costs. For the RV owners the mileage gain is usually about one mile per gallon. It may be hard with all the extra power, but good driving habits are required to increase fuel economy.
Edge Products is the industry leader in development and manufacture of aftermarket electronic performance modules. Edge Products specializes in high quality modules and monitors which outperform competitors "chips" by communicating directly with the trucks computer signals via the Engine Control Module (ECM). This allows Edge Products to significantly improve performance by monitoring real time RPM, Turbo Boost Pressure,Timing, and Fueling Parameters. This will improve a vehicles efficiency, Horsepower, Torque, Gas Mileage, Towing Capability, and Driveability while providing smooth power curves that far exceed what is available on a stock engine.
The first thing you will probably notice, especially if this is your first time driving a truck with a performance module, is the added horsepower. You will experience more power, quicker take-offs, better passing and acceleration, and even better fuel economy. If you are towing, the beauty of the extra power Edge modules deliver is not only will you be able to maintain speed going up a hill, but the added power will also keep you in a higher gear, so your transmission will not keep "hunting" for lower gears. We recommend power levels one or two for towing applications.
The remaining power levels available on the performance modules are designed to match fueling with any additional upgrades you may have done to your truck. Level 3 is designed to take advantage of the built-in safety margins the manufacturer needs to add in order to make sure your vehicle can tow at its maximum capacity. Levels four and higher are normally race levels and are designed to be used with upgraded drive trains. If you have modified your injectors, upgraded the transmission, changed turbos or performed other similar enhancements, levels four and higher will match fueling to the additional performance created by these upgrades.
Edge Products develops and manufactures products of exceptionally high quality for the Ford Powerstroke and Triton V8, Dodge Cummins, Chevy Duramax, GMC Duramax, Jeep, Caterpillar RVs, and Cummins RVs. Edge prides itself on providing products with easy installation and maximum adjustability enhanced with real time data to monitor vehicle performance, and all this is done at very competitive prices.
