Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar - Non-Binding - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
Awesome hitch! Fills up easily and nicely. Easy to operate and not terribly heavy to handle if you need to store it.
Having used the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain tow bar for over a year to tow a Kia Soul with our class A coach, I have nothing but good things to say about it. The tow bar is extremely easy to attach to the towed vehicle. Get close and the arms will connect, pull ahead and the arms lock into tow position. The cable management tubes on the side of the arms keep all electrical and safety cables organized and tangle free. The tow bar quickly folds and stores on the rear of the coach when not in use. Fit, finish, and construction is excellent. Instructions for set-up, use and maintenance are clear and complete. The reviews and videos provided by e trailer certainly helped with the decision to go with this particular tow bar, along with their great selection, price, and delivery. Thanks e trailer!

Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
The install on my Ford Maverick is clean and functional, so this is more of a customer service review... excellent customer service! During the 4-day towing set-up install, the forecast was for freezing temps and my rig was not winterized. I called in mid panic and the motorhome was moved indoors. A few months after using the tow set-up, a minor problem developed. I called and the CSR apologized and said, I can see how that might be frustrating, and a replacement cable (slightly longer) was sent free of charge.
In February 2016 I bought a used Class A Motorhome with came with a Roadmaster Falcon Tow Bar. After a couple of trips around the country in my motorhome, I quickly realized why the majority of motorhomes I saw had a vehicle in tow. I searched for a decent tow vehicle and in June purchased a 2003 Chevy Tracker. I didn't know anything about Raodmaster or the quality of their products so I started reading reviews from satisfied owners and quickly realized I had a very good tow bar so I researched what I needed to hook it up on my Tracker. I got acquainted with eTrailer when I purchased the Base Plates to attach my Raodmaster Falcon tow bar to my Tracker. Derek at eTrailer was very helpful and took the time ensuring that I had the right parts to use with my used tow bar. The customer service I received was outstanding. I actually received my base plates the next day with free shipping! The installation instructions were clear and concise and I installed the base plates in about 1 hour and was ready to go. I took several trips (about 4,000 miles) with my Tracker in tow behind me and never had any issues. My Falcon Tow Bar I got with my RV is at least 10 years old and I considered buying a new one but I didn't want or need to spend the extra money since there really wasn't anything wrong with it. Then my last trip of the year (end of November) I was about 75 miles away from home running 75 mph (in traffic), when my Tracker (in tow behind me) was rear-ended on the highway. This accident could have been catastrophic but it wasn't. My old Falcon Tow Bar absorbed the majority of the impact! Needless to say, the tow bar was destroyed but the RV and Tracker never let go of each other. After settling up with the insurance company and fixing my Tracker, when it came time to buy a new tow bar, the Roadmaster Falcon II and eTrailer was a no-brainer. In my opinion, the quality of the Roadmaster product saved lives last November!

Roadmaster Sterling All-Terrain Tow Bar - Non-Binding - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 8,000 lbs
Unfortunately first set was defective from Roadmaster. Etrailer sent another set and return label which installed correctly, eTrailer was great to work with.
Great product. Everything works well....it's solid, durable and well built. The only complaint I have is the two plated bolts that hold on the tow vehicle knuckles are rusting and look terrible. I'm going to have to paint them I guess.

Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - Car Mount - 6,000 lbs
The adjustable arms make this tow bar simple to hook up and disconnect. I can pull up behind our RV and hook up in about 3 minuets (including the wiring for our break buddy and putting the transfer in neutral). Disconnecting and stowing the bar is even faster. Although is tow bar is locked to the baseplate and folds flat it is so easy to remove I end up taking it off and putting it in the back when we will not be towing.
I was slightly nervous that this would be difficult to take on and off if I wasn't on flat ground. So for I have not had any issues and I really like that it hooks up to a 2 inch ball. My jeep has a lift on it and getting things level was easy with and adjustable height mount.

Blue Ox Avail Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 10,000 lbs
I regret not getting an aluminum tow bar. The bx7420 blue ox is covered when not in use and one year later it is rusted and looks like its 10 years old. I am beginning to question the safety of the tow bar. Not sure what to do. I have always had blue ox but will consider other brands very soon.
Dealing with Blue Ox was a pleasant experience and simple and easy. Buying the tow bar from eTrailer was equally as pleasant.

Roadmaster Nighthawk All-Terrain Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plate - Non-Binding - LEDs - RV Mount - 8K
Quick delivery and the tow bar was well packed and configured for my Blue Ox base plate. Thanks
Awesome Design. I love how everything is tucked away. It would've been nice to have some quick-connect points for the safety cables and pigtail when the Tow-Bar is in storage mode. As opposed to just wrapping the loose items and hooking back to themselves (seems tacky compared to the rest of the engineering). Beautiful Product!

Blue Ox Adventurer Adjustable Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - 5,000 lbs
Works great on our Mini Cooper S Connects with removeable pins, making connections to the RV quick and easy.
There is not a lot of information on the internet about pulling this kind of VW. I did my homework and this works GREAT when pulling a standard transmission with key left in "ON" position. etrailer has a lot of variety to offer for different needs. This is the lower priced, plain Jane, no frills, less moving parts for something to go wrong - exactly what I was looking for tow bar. With little work it folds up for storage easily. Installation on our '98 diesel VW was clean and easy without incident (I do all my own modifications when needed. There is no rattling loose fit in tight corners or straight a ways. We don't even know we are pulling anything behind our '68 Dodge Travco B210 (modified with 5.9 Cummins)

Blue Ox Acclaim Non-Binding Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - Car Mount - 5,000 lbs
While the quality of this units seems excellent, and it is a good price, I was unable to use it in my setup. I Bought it to go with the Blue Ox base plate for a 2014 Chevy Spark. That base plate sets the tow bar connections 23" above the ground. This tow bar requires a 7" rise from the base plate connection to the hitch. Meaning 30" above the ground at the hitch. In my rig, this would require a hitch riser of over 12". I have no complaints about the tow bar, however, it is not a good option with the 2014 Spark Blue Ox base plate.
Everything as advertised. Followed the videos and instructions for installing the base plates and tow bar and all were good. Did a test pull today and it towed great, straight as a dye. I only have 2 suggestions. There was no mention in the video of the space plate, which was included. Figured it out. Second suggestion, Install a 2" ball on your work bench and adjust the receiver to it. The instructions tell you what socket to adjust it with but that could have been done on the bench before shipping. Great product, so excited. We are off on a few hundred mile trip with the Fit behind the motorhome Wednesday. So excited. No more tow dolly.

Demco Dominator Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 7,500 lbs
This tow bar is incredibly easy to use and our Grand Cherokee tracks very well even up to 70+ MPH. We are towing with our new Dynamax and are looking forward to our first long drive to Texas in December. Would highly recommend to anyone!!
Joshua K, was Great, just like all the support Staff at etrailer. They know not only etrailer products but all the other non etrailer products. I hope they are getting paid for what they are worth, because few companies today such well trained staff as etrailer has. I tell all me RV club members at Pacific Trailer RV Club how great they are

Curt Adjustable Tow Bar - Coupler Style for 2" Ball - 5,000 lbs
Functions by design. I pull a 2003 behind my motorhome. Easy to install, easy to connect to Jeep and hitch of motorhome. Never had an issue pulling, put about 5000 miles on since purchase. I would do it again if needed. Great product
Very nice, i have used it 4 times flat towing my 89 Jeep Wrangler YJ over 1000 miles. Very happy and tows like there is nothing behind me, thanks for a fine product!!

Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All-Terrain Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 10,000 lbs
Easy to hook up our toad ( Jeep ). I can connect or disconnect in about 2 minutes all while standing. Stays right behind our RV and you only know its back there when you look in the rear view mirror. I would buy this again.
Great tow bar system for towing my Toyota Tundra behind my motor coach. Too bad the baseplate I purchased required me to add a 6 inch drop receiver and causes a rub condition on rising/falling surfaces.

etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
It didn't work with the off-road bumper setup that I was sold
Great purchase and suggestion from etrailer. This thing is so easy to hook up to the Jeep and we couldn't be happier. We've only towed a few times, but already the wife has taken over hooking up the tow bar while I hook up the Brake Buddy in the Jeep. Easy to hook up, just as easy to disconnect after you arrive. I wish we had done this years ago!

Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs
I decided to use an antique Blue Ox tow bar to pull my Mini Cooper behind our RV on a trip to Panama City beach last year. Big Mistake! If it looks questionable, don't use it. When we arrived I was extremely thankful that the Mini was still with us. The old Blue Ox bar was coming apart. I looked locally for a replacement and found one at Camping World and was shocked at the price. eTrailer had the exact same unit for hundreds and hundreds less. And they shipped it quickly right to the camp ground. The Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar is very easy to us and mated right up to the Blue Ox kit on the Mini. Thanks eTrailer! We will definitely buy from you again!
Even after I complained to you that I had been -- falsely -- told you do not supply a Blue Ox base plate for Malibus and bought a Roadmaster, you send me a Roadmaster tow bar with some other brand's connectors. I will shortly send you a photograph of the base plate connection I have and expect you to send connections that match it.

etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates - RV Mount - 6,000 lbs
Outstanding product and even better customer service! Two backyard mechanics installed baseplate and braking system with just one call to confirm proper wire connection. Total package works great.
This whole system is great!!! Even being a female, it takes less than a minute to connect or disconnect, just a couple of small receivers stick out of the front of the car. And they are removeable when not towing. My brother even bought a set for his Class C. It is difficult to back up in the Class C, IT is ok as it is quick to disconnect, so no worries.

Curt Rambler Non-Binding Tow Bar - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 7,500 lbs
Great Base plate kit! Very easy to follow instructions even with my aftermarket bumper with winch. It fit perfect. The only issue I have is where the safety cables attach to the base plate….the cable connectors are too big to fit through the holes because the Jeep’s frame blocks part of the hole. See photo with red circle. I will have to get a smaller connector.
I ordered this tow bar and D ring adapters specifically for my Bronco and it’s way to sloppy and I can’t use this to tow my Bronco

etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox and Curt Base Plates - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 6K lbs
Good design but poorly manufactured. Used on a single, multi-week trip: Bar stayed on the RV. Removed when we got home and the powder-coating has cracked and bar is showing rust inside and out. Chrome on extending arms is pitted and beginning to rust. Emailed etrailer but Cody informed me that I would have to ship it back at my expense without any commitment to replace! Disappointed with etrailer after years of previous purchases
We love our etrailer SD tow bar. Much lighter than our previous Blue Ox. The non binding feature along with the integral safety cables and multiple storage options are great features. We use it in conjunction with a NSA Ready Brake. Great combination. Our current coach is a 2017 Jayco Seneca 37HJ. Toad is a Ford C-Max Hybrid. Easiest to use tow bar we have ever owned.

Demco Dominator Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox and Curt Base Plates- RV Mount- 2" Hitch - 7.5K
I had a Blueox before and the Demco seems higher quality. The real test comes in few weeks when we use it for the first time. I know it will go well. Great tow bar and fast delivery. Thanks!
Used dolly before. The whole tow setup is awesome. Easy to connect and disconnect including lights and brakes. Would highly recommend.
etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar Review - 2022 Jeep Cherokee
Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2022 Jeep Cherokee, we're gonna be checking out the etrailer SD tow bar. Right off the bat, these etrailer SD tow bars are gonna be available in several different configurations, and really, the only difference is going to be what type of adapter end comes with it. So the one that we have here today is going to work with Blue Ox base plates as well as Curt base plates. And if you happen to have a different, you know, brand of base plate, whether it be a Roadmaster or another one, chances are really good that the SD is gonna be available with that adapter and to allow you to pair them two together. With that said though, when it comes to picking out a tow bar, it's a pretty important decision, you know, 'cause it's gonna be responsible for a lot of the work, being the physical link that's going to connect the back of your motor home to your vehicle.
Demco Dominator Non-Binding Tow Bar Review - 2022 Jeep Cherokee
Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2022 Jeep Cherokee, we're gonna be checking out the Demco Dominator Tow Bar. So the tow bar is gonna be one of the five main components that you're gonna need to set up your Cherokee to be flat towed. The other four are gonna include your base plate, your safety cables, your tow bar wiring, and your supplemental braking system. And when it comes to tow bars, it's an important decision on what one to get, right, because it's responsible for a lot of the work, being that physical link that connects the back of your motor home to the front of your Jeep, you're gonna want something that you can rely on and something that pulls your vehicle good down the road and is gonna be easy to use. And with the Dominator kind of checks all those boxes, to be honest with you.

And so you're gonna want something that tracks well, meaning your vehicle's gonna pull true behind it, be responsive, things like that, and something that's easy to use and figure out, right The last thing you want to do is have something complicated to deal with when you're trying to set up your flat tow and get on the road.

Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain Tow Bar Installation - 2022 Jeep Cherokee
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Roadmaster Nightawk tow bar on a 2022 Jeep Cherokee. Now, as you can see this attachment point might look a little bit different than your typical Roadmaster, and really all the difference is is this is set up for a Blue Ox. So, if you have a Blue Ox space plate, you're gonna wanna make sure to select the Nighthawk that has the blue ox attachments and that way it goes together. And that's really the only difference between the rest of the tow bar is just gonna be this attachment point. Now, the Nighthawk is the premier tow bar that's out on the market and it's got all the bells and whistles and overall it's just super high quality in pretty much every point. And a lot of that comes down to just Roadmaster quality, but a lot of your touch points and just the mechanics of it overall feel really good.

Hey everybody, how's it goin' Today, we're gonna to be going over and showing you how to install the etrailer SD Tow Bar here on a 2021 Jeep Cherokee. A tow bar is gonna be the physical connection between the trailer hitch on the motor home and the base plate kit here on the towed vehicle. So it's gonna be one of the several other components that we need to successfully flat to our vehicle, including a base plate kit. A lot of the tow bars such as this one come with the safety cables, therefore we don't need to purchase that separately. We're also gonna need a supplemental braking system in most states and a wiring harness to transmit the signals. The SD Tow Bar is rated for 6,000 pounds, which is gonna be more than enough for the Cherokee here, you shouldn't ever have to worry about exceeding that.
