AirBedz Air Mattress Review - 2016 Ford F-150

Speaker 1: Today in our 2016 Ford F-150, we're going to be doing a test today on the Airbedz truck bed air mattress, part number 341016. This air mattress is going to be made to fit your six-foot to six-and-a-half-foot beds. Let's open it up and take a look. So as you can see right off the bat, it takes up the entire length and width of our truck bed, it has a nice camouflage color to it, and it's got a heavy-duty nylon construction, so it's going to be durable and it's not going to deflate while you're sleeping, so you're not going to wake up laying on the bed of your truck, and that can be uncomfortable. If we come over here and look, one of the nicest features about this is that it's self inflating and self deflating. Meaning that, if we look right here, we're going to have our portable and rechargeable battery. Just stick that in that slot and then close the container.

DeeZee Tailgate Assist Custom Lowering System Installation - 2013 Ford F-150

Today in our 2013 Ford F150, well be installing the DeeZee Tailgate Assist Custom Tailgate-Lowering System for pickup trucks part number DZ43200.Lets begin by showing you how the tailgate can just simply drop when you release it. To begin with, we need to adjust the nutsert tool so that theres approximately three quarters of an inch from the washer to the head of the bolt. If you need to move it, you simply loosen the nut and screw the bolt in or out to get to the proper length and then tighten down the nut. As you can see here, weve already got our three quarter inch length set properly.Next, were going to use an M5 Allen wrench, as well as a 10-millimeter wrench to install the nutsert in the opening in the tailgate pivot point. When installing this, were going to need to turn the nut 360 degrees nine times. To make things a little bit easier, were going to take our paint marker and mark one side of the nut so that we can keep count as were turning the nut in tighter.

Putco Push-Up Tie-Downs Installation - 2012 Ford F-150

Today, on our 2012 Ford F-150, we will be installing the Putco Push-Up tie downs, part number P99901. First, we will go ahead and assemble the tie down off the truck. We will install the gasket onto the main body and insert the 2 bolts. Then, we will take the mushroom blocks and put them onto the bolts. Then, loosely screw on the bolt plate. To install the tie down, we will first remove the cover over the stake pocket.

Stromberg Carlson Tailgate Installation - 2012 Ford F-150

Today we have with this the 2012 Ford F150. We're going to show you how to install the Stromberg Carlson Vented 5th Wheel Tailgate, part # VG-04-100. The first thing we need to do is remove the OEM tailgate. We'll lower it partially, disconnect the cables and then move the door to about a 45-degree angle so that we can slide it off of its hinges. Next we'll take a latch assembly, put it into place on a tailgate and use the included hardware to install our latch. We'll repeat the same for the opposite side of the tailgate.

TruXedo Truck Bed LED Lighting System - 2006 Ford F-150

Today on our 2006 Ford F150, we'll be installing the Truxedo Tonneau Covers, B-Light battery powered truck bed lighting system, part number TX1704998. As you will see, these battery powered truck bed lighting systems run on 3 AA batteries. They adhere to whichever section of your bed you would like to put them on with double sided tape as well as the battery box where the on/off switch is, has two holes that you can also add two screws to if you choose. The screws are not supplied with the kit and you will need to come up with them separately. On this particular bed, there's a spray-in bed liner. So we're going to go ahead and use two separate screws to help mount the box to the side of the bed. Because this truck has a Tonneau cover on it and a spray-in bed liner, we're going to actually mount the lighting strip to the underside of the Tonneau cover rail. Before we do any mounting though, we're going to go ahead and undo the four Phillips heads screws.

Stromberg Carlson Tailgate Installation - 2006 Ford F-150

Today on our 2006 Ford F150, well be test fitting the Stromberg Carlson 100 series fifth wheel tailgate with open design, part number VG-04-100.Now to begin our test fit, we will first start off by removing our manufacturers tailgate. Well open up the tailgate and lay it down flat. Well then move to the support straps attached to the truck bed, lift up the silver plate to allow us to bring the strap up off of the hook. We will then repeat these steps for the other side. Note that you do need to keep a hold on the tailgate as once both straps have been removed, the tailgate will not have any support.Well then put the tailgate in a 45 degree angle and lift up on the passenger side of the tailgate. Once the passenger side is free, we can then slide the tailgate to the right and allow the drivers side of the tailgate to pop out.Now with the new hardware installed on the fifth wheel tailgate, well start off by inserting the rubber bushing on the drivers side of the truck bed.

Stromberg Carlson Tailgate Installation - 2002 Ford F-150

Today on this 2002 Ford F-150 we are going to do a test fit of part number VG-97-4000. This is Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series fifth wheel tailgate. Few things to know this tailgate has a cut out for a fifth wheel or a gooseneck trailer. Its constructed from a black composite plastic frame with built in louvers which allows for less drag and improves visibility. It also has a key center release mechanism that works with the latches. This will allow you to lock the tailgate on the truck.
