Now, this cargo carrier has a 300-pound weight capacity, it works with both inch-and-a-quarter and two-inch hitches. Going to go ahead and take some measurements to show you how it interacts with your Town & Country. When you've got it installed into your receiver, overall, you added about 26-and-a-half inches to the rear of your Town & Country. The carrier itself sits about 7 inches away from the bumper of your Town & Country.

Today on our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country, we're doing a test fit on the Let's Go Aero GearCage. This is a 48 x 32 inside dimension cargo carrier capable of holding up to 300 pounds and designed for use in 2-inch hitches. As you can see, it's a large spacious carrier. We can easily get these 3 bags on here. Each one of them's got 50 pounds in it, so we're about half the maximum limit, and as you can see, the carrier doesn't really move unless the car moves. It's really locked in solid using an anti-rattle bolt, secures it in. Different than a lot of the cargo carriers on the market.



SportRack Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Chrysler Town and Country

Today on our 2015 Chrysler Town & Country we're test fitting the SportRack Vista folding cargo carrier. This is a 20 by 60 carrier. It's rated for up to a 500 pound capacity. Part number on it is SR9851. As you can see, it's a nice, steady, sturdy cargo rack. As we're heading down the road there would be very little movement and very little shake from it.
