Kuat NV 2.0 2 Bike Rack Review - 2024 Buick Enclave

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here and we're taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 on our 2024 Buick Enclave. All right, so the NV is actually a really good carrier for a person that's looking for a wheel mounted carrier. So a little bit of explanation on wheel mounted is that's how your bike in secured, is by making contact with only the wheel and nowhere on the frame. So if you have a carbon fiber frame, a nice paint job or unconventional frame, like a step through bike, wheel mount is generally gonna be a great option to secure your bike without making contact. So the Kuat has really easy controls, it's very premium carrier, and you can tell that from interacting with it. It makes it really easy to move things around.

Yakima OnRamp 2 Bike Rack Review - 2024 Buick Enclave

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp on our 2024 Buick Enclave. Well, the Yakima OnRamp is a great bike carrier for someone that has the Enclave because the hitch sits up so much higher. Having that included ramp makes a world of difference as far as loading your bikes. Once your bike is loaded, you'll notice that this is actually a frame mount bike carrier. So you're gonna have three points of contact. You're gonna have two straps on each one of your wheels and the center mast cradle that makes contact with your frame.

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2024 Buick Enclave

Hi, everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima FullTilt Hanging-Style Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Buick Enclave. Now this is going to be a more premium option as far as hanging-style racks go. It's got a lot of nice convenience features and allows you to carry up to five bikes. So I recommend this for families, because even though it can fit five bikes, five adult bikes is gonna be hard. But if you have kids' bikes in the mix, then that's gonna be a lot easier to make them fit and abide by the weight capacity, which is up to 150 pounds total.

Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2024 Buick Enclave

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination, and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Buick Enclave. Now the Destination is gonna be a platform-style bike rack and this version of it can carry up to four bikes. If you don't need that kind of capacity, they do make one of this that can carry only two bikes and it's gonna be pretty much the same thing, just shorter. But this is gonna be a really solid option for an entry-level bike rack because it's a pretty good value option and it offers a lot for the price. So it can carry a bike up to 35 pounds, which, for most, it's gonna be more than fine.

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2024 Buick Enclave

Hi, everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat NV Base Platform-Style Bike Rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Buick Enclave. Now, this is gonna be a really nice introduction into the world of premium-style bike racks, and it's one of my own personal favorites. It strikes a nice balance between ease of use and looking just very minimal and sleek. So the NV can support a 60-pound bike, so you can maybe hold some of your e-bikes and it's gonna hold the bike primarily by our front tire, which means no frame contact, making this a good option for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes.

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Buick Enclave

Hey, everybody. Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Buick Enclave, we're gonna be checking out the Kuat NV 2.0 platform-style bike rack. First impressions of the rack on the back of the Buick, I think it looks really good. Kuat makes very high quality stuff, very well built. And you know, that's important I feel, like, especially on a vehicle like the Buick, more high-end, luxury, you know, you don't want something that looks cheap and chancy back here.

Our third strap will be on the down tube of the bike, and that's our anti-sway strap which keeps it from moving back and forth and maybe knocking into our other bikes or into the back of our vehicle. Now that we have those undone, we'll go ahead and slide our bike off. It's always a good idea to reattach your straps so that you don't lose them as you're going down the road or putting your rack into storage or whatever you may be doing with it while it's not in use.

Malone Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Buick Enclave

Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test fitting the Malone Pilot 4 Bike Rack for number MPG2112-2115. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. One of the more common features about this bike is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with all four bikes still attached so it can have rear hatch access. To do that, we'll come up to the front here, snap this loose, and lifting up on the rack a little bit, we'll remove the pin completely. You'll notice with that pin removed, it still doesn't fall. That's because there is a catch up at the front here to prevent it from falling so you don't have all that weight coming down at you at once, and you have time to come back here and get a decent grip.

Malone Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Buick Enclave

Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test-fitting the Malone Pilot Two-Bike Platform Rack for 2-inch hitches, part number MPG2112. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. One of the more prominent features of this bike rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with both bikes still attached, so we can gain rear hatch access. To do this, we'll come up to the front, lift up slightly, pop the pin loose, and you'll notice that even though the pin is loose, it's not coming down. It's a safety feature where they have a catch up at the front, so once you do remove that pin, all that weight's not coming down on you. You can get a better footing. So, pull out, and let it come down, and now we have rear hatch access.

Malone Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Buick Enclave

Today on our 2014 Buick Enclave, we're going to be test fitting the Malone Hanger 4 Bike Rack for 1 1/4" and 2" hitches. Part number MPG2124. We already have our bike installed on the rack, so let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. The bike is held into place at two points. We're going to have a strap off to the side here which is going to be the anti-sway cradle, that's going to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth and making bike-to-bike contact. Then we'll have this one up at the top as well to hold it in place. The cradles are adjustable, back and forth and side to side, and can be tightened down with these bolts in the center here. We also have two reflectors on the ends of the arms as well, for better visibility at night. The mast has a couple of features, one of them being this pad here in the center, and again, that's to protect your frame of your bike, should it make contact with that, there won't be any scratches or abrasions.
