That is what you would have to do. The factory bump stop bracket also should be in this location or just below the 5th wheel rail. They are meant to smooth the ride and help eliminate some sag caused by carrying heavy loads in the cargo area. In other words, the SumoSprings will not lift the vehicle, but will help resist against sag when the vehicle is under load. Various aftermarket lift kits are available in different heights.
