I checked into this with Dutton-Lainson, and the limitation on the # DL22120 offset spare tire has to do with the weight of the 15 inch tire and wheels, and not with the physical size. The welds on the carrier are not rated to handle the weight of standard 15 inch trailer tire and wheels. This carrier has a offset of 4-1/2 inches to the side and 4-3/4 upward. I pulled one from the warehouse and the wheel mounting plate measures 5-7/16 inches tall and 4 inches wide.
