Recommended Base Plates to Flat Tow 1997 Ford F250 HD- There are three different base plate options available for your truck. The Roadmaster # 458-1 fits 4WD models with or without the front sway bar. The only problem with this base plate kit is that it is NOT compatible with the type of tow bar you referenced. If you went with these base plates, you would need to choose a tow bar compatible with the Roadmaster MS-style base plates.
