Comparing the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider and Swagman XTC2 Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Racks- Many of the platform style bike racks are similar. In terms of overall quality and performance, the Swagman XTC2, # S64670, is my top choice when compared to the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider, # HR1000. Apart from the same basic design these two racks do have some key differences. First, the wheel hoops used on the Swagman have rubber straps which are durable and protect the bike wheels. The straps used on the Sport Rider are Hook-and-loop straps (similar to Velcro) and can fray over time.

Will Hollywood Racks SE2 Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack Clear the Spare Tire on a 2010 Toyota RAV4- We have not performed a test fit yet of the Hollywood Racks SE2, # HR1450, on a 2010 Toyota RAV4 so to determine fit there are some important measurements to look at. You will want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole straight back to the distance required to clear the spare tire.
On the bike rack, the distance measures 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the nearest wheel loop. The bike pedals and handle bars will probably stick out closer to the vehicle so keep th

You will want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on your trailer hitch to the rear-most point of your spare tire.
The NV bike rack measures about 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the first bike platform. That will be the center of your bike. From there, you can find the width of your bike at your seat and peda

Comparing the Hollywood Racks SE4 and Swagman 2+2 Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Racks- The Hollywood Racks SE4, # HR1400, and the Swagman 2+2, # S64691, are two comparable bike racks. Like you have already said, the racks can handle 2 or 4 bikes with the last 2 bike section being removable. The SE4 weighs a little less (shipping weight is 82 pounds) when compared to the 2+2 (89 pound shipping weight).
For wheel cradles I give the edge to the 2+2. The actual cradles are more secure than the hoops used on the SE4. Both racks have the same 45 pounds per bike capacity so there is n

Differences Between Thule Helium Aero and Vertex 2 Bike Racks- There are a few differences between the two racks. The Helium Aero features an integrated cable lock and anti-rattle Auto-Attach system with integrated locking hitch pin, while the Vertex uses a more traditional threaded hitch pin. A lock for the hitch pin, part # THSTL2 is sold separately. The aluminum construction of the Helium Aero makes it about 12 lighter than the Vertex, which is an important consideration for some.
Thule makes a great product, so you cannot go wrong with either choice.

Comparing the Swagman 2+2 and the XTC4 Bike Racks- The two biggest differences between the Swagman XTC-4 # S64665 and the Swagman 2 + 2 # S64691 that I would consider the most would be weight and ability to convert to a 2-bike rack.
The 2+2 weighs 89 lbs, but has the ability to be converted down to just a bike rack if needed, whereas the XTC4 weighs 65 lbs but cannot be converted to a 2-bike rack.
Other things to consider is that the XTC4 has narrower wheel cradles and the main shaft of the rack is at an angle to allow the bikes to be load

The Quad on the other hand is strictly a 4 bike rack.
Both racks have a 45 pound capacity per bike and both can tilt. The 2+2 has larger wheel cradles than the Quad and can be adjusted to accommodate different styles of bikes.
