Can Rain Get Into the Ventline Powered Vanair Trailer Roof Vent # VP-543SP- It is not likely but possible for rain to get into the vent when it is open. The outer lid overlaps the lower housing so water would have to come in sideways (if parked level) for it to get in. Also if the trailer is parked on an incline, the angle required to enter in the vent would not be as severe so you just have to plan accordingly. For installation we recommend using install kit # RVIKIT100.

Choosing the Correct Ramp Springs for Enclosed Cargo Trailer- The springs you mentioned are designed for use on an existing door hinge that uses a 1-1/2 diameter rod or pipe as a hinge pin. The spring would be slipped over the pipe and there would need to be gaps of at least 2-1/2 inches in the hinge barrel on the door and on the trailer to allow room for the width of the spring.
The ramp springs are not designed for lightweight doors that have an aluminum skin and a wood core.
The correct springs for your application will depend on what you are usin

Replacement Roof Vent Cover for 2008 Dutchman Aerolyte Travel Trailer- After speaking with my contact at Ventline, I believe that the Vent Cover for Jensen Trailer Vents, part # 62008 for Smoke color or # 69284 for White would be your best bet for matching your existing hinges. If you measure the outside dimension of your existing opening, and it is 12-3/4 inches square or less, this is most likely the correct replacement. I have edited a photo showing the hinge detail for you to take a look at.

Is the Fan in the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent Reversible- The fan itself only fits onto the motor one way. If you wanted to reverse the rotation of the fan you would need to switch the positive and negative leads on the back of the motor. I tried this with just the motor and it will reverse the rotation. However, since the fan can only be put on one way and the blades are at a fixed angle, reverse the motor direction will also reverse the air flow direction.

Installing Trailer Vent # V2092SP-28 on Snowmobile Trailer with 1/8 Inch Thick Roof- The garnish that is included with the V2092SP-28 is 2-1/8 inches thick, which is the shortest one offered.
You can certainly use the vent, but you will have to modify the garnish or use some lumber to make a frame around the hole to take up some of the additional room. Due to the very thin roof, I would suggest making a frame as it would add some stability for the rough opening and provide a strong attachment point for the vent.
