  • Monitor Availability to View Transmission Fluid Temperature of 2008 Honda Ridgeline
  • For your 2008 Honda Ridgeline we have gauge displays available as a fit like the Edge Insight CTS2 part# EP84130 which would allow you to monitor the transmission fluid temperature. For the non touch screen version you would want the part # EP84030. Here is a list of common parameters both can display: Battery Voltage Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Engine Oil Pressure (EOP) Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Engine Oil Temperature (EOT) Transmission Fluid Temperature (TFT) Miles...

  • Install of Tow Ready 118253 Trailer Wiring Harness on 2009 Honda Ridgeline
  • To install the Tow Ready # 118253 on your 2009 Ridgeline, first find the relay block. The relay block is located under the dash above where the driver's left knee would be, and the fuses install in the subfuse box located on the firewall in the engine compartment. To access the relay block, you'll need to remove the driver's side end of the dash (the part that's up against the door when it's closed) and insert a screwdriver into the hole that's there to pry the relay block up off it's mounted...

  • Recommended 4-Way Wiring Harness for a 2017 Honda Ridgeline
  • I have a solution for your but when I spoke to my contact at Curt and he informed me that the 2017 Honda Ridgeline is a completely redesigned model from the 2014 to the 2017 and the # C55585 will not work. While there currently is no custom wiring harness for the 2017 Honda Ridgeline, a great universal option, I recommend for you to install the ZCI wiring harness # 119250KIT. The ZCI harness will install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle without cutting or splicing into your...

  • Can 13 Inch Trailer Tires Be Used in Place of 12 Inch Trailer Tires
  • The ST175/80-13 trailer tire size is approximately 3.6 inches taller than the tires you have now. Half of that is applied above the axle center line so there will be less than 1/2 an inch of clearance between the fender and the top of the tire. You should have about 3 inches of clearance to account for travel of the suspension. Going to a 13 inch tire will not work unless you can raise the fenders up about 2-5/8 inches. What you could do is go to a 145/80-12 tire such as # AM10140. It...

  • Where Does the Tow Ready Trailer Wiring 118253 Install on a 2010 Honda Ridgeline
  • You are right. The location for the install port on your 2010 Honda Ridgeline for the part # 118253 is different than for the Pilots. I spoke with my contact at Tow Ready and he said that the harness that the black converter box plugs into on your vehicle is behind the kick plate on the driver side. So the panel to left of where the driver's feet will be is what you would need to remove to install the box.

  • Can Darby Extend-A-Truck Kayak Carrier Carry 2 Kayaks On 2012 Honda Ridgeline
  • The Darby Extend-A-Truck Kayak Carrier, part # DTA944-968-924 has foam blocks that support the crossbar and use a strap that runs through the interior of the truck cab. This system has a 350-lb weight capacity but you will need to make sure you do not exceed the roof weight capacity on your Ridgeline. The crossbar for the roof included with this system can be extended from 45 to 60 inches wide, and the crossbar on the extension is 48 inches wide. That may pose a problem with 2 kayaks...

The # 11953 will be sold in a quantity of one so for a pair of mirrors you will want to purchase a quantity of 2. These mirrors will mount on either the driver or passenger side. • Missing Towing Module on 2007 Honda Ridgeline
  • I am not sure what towing module they are talking about. If your 2007 Honda Ridgeline came with the factory tow package that included a 7-Way trailer connector at the back then the only reason any part of the towing package would be missing is if someone removed it. It is also possible that the 7-Way on the vehicle is not a factory 7-Way. So it would appear that you either need to have that missing part installed or hardwire in a different 7-Way connector. It is probably less money to...

But you can add one. To add a 7-Way you will first need to install a 4-Way using wiring harness # 118400. Then you can install 4- and 7-Way kit # ETBC7 to add the 7-Way and retain use of a 4-Way as well. I have linked some videos that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you. If you also need a...

  • Difference Between Fastway e2 And Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System
  • When choosing a weight distribution system, the most important thing to know is the total tongue weight. That is the tongue weight of the trailer when it is fully loaded and ready to tow added to the weight of any cargo placed behind the rear axle. To compare the Fastway system like part # FA92-00-0800 to the Equal-I-zer part # EQ37100ET, I would go with the Equal-i-zer. • Solution Hitch Install on 2006 Honda Ridgeline Where Holes Don't Line Up

  • Availability of Quick-Connect Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller Wiring Adapter for 2013 Honda Ridgeline
  • If your 2013 Honda Ridgeline has a factory 7-way trailer connector installed then you will use wiring adapter # 3070-P to install a brake controller like the Prodigy P3 # 90195. If the truck does not have a factory 7-way then instead you'll use a hardwire install kit # ETBC7. In order to install this kit the truck needs to have a working 4-pole harness like # 118400. Videos for both types of installation are linked for you.

  • Honda Ridgeline 2014 7-Way and Brake Controller Recommendation
  • For your 2014 Honda Ridgeline the # C55585 is the correct 4-way for your vehicle. To convert the 4-way to a 7-way for just trailer lighting functions the # 30717 and the # 18138 would work well. If your trailer has brakes that need to be activated you would instead want the # ETBC7 for converting the 4-way since it will make it fully functional. For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because...

  • 7-Way Recommendation for a 2008 Honda Ridgeline

The only way we offer to install a 7-way on your vehicle would be to first install a 4-way like # 118400. Now if your trailer does not have brakes all you would need is the part # 37185 as an adapter to convert the 4-way to a 7-way. If...

  • Weight Distribution Recommendation for Honda Ridgeline Towing Travel Trailer

This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached a help article on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well. You will want the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use. Typically tongue weight is 10-15...

Your best option though would be to install a hitch and go with a hitch mounted bike rack though as the # UG2500-4 that you referenced has not been confirmed to fit your vehicle. But if you have the arms folded down and also tilt the rack down it measures 11-7/8 inches.
