The arms of the rack extend straight out from the back of the ladder on the motorhome and the bikes hang by the center frame that the seat post installs into. This allows you to carry bikes with many different styles of bike frame.

How Easy is it To Mount and Remove the RV Bumper 2 Bike Rack #S80605- For the average individual, I would say that it is fairly easy to remove the RV Bumper 2 Bike Rack, # S80605. You would be removing 8 bolts total on the three piece rack. The two larger sections probably make up the bulk of the weight. The entire unit only weighs about 24 pounds. So with the right tools and about 5 minutes tops, you could have the rack off the bumper and placed out of the way.

How Does the Topline RV Ladder Bike Rack Attach and How do Bikes Attach to the Rack- The bikes sit in the cradles on the arms of the rack. They are strapped in via the nylon straps. The rack hooks onto the steps on the ladder. You should not need anything else to attach the rack to the RV.
You may need a frame adapter, since it is a ladies bike, like part # Y02531. This way the bike can be kept level on the rack. You may also want to use a cable lock to secure the bike to the ladder to deter any potential thieves, like part # CAB-10.

Once you position the racks the appropriate width to fit the adult bikes you can then see if they are close enough to accommodate the childrens bikes. How to Install The Swagman Pop-Up Mighty Rack On A 1997 Coleman Westlake Pop-Up Camper- You will need to bolt the tie-down brackets to the roof supports on the top or side of your camper in order to secure the Swagman Pop-Up Mighty Rack, part # S80550. The location of the brackets will be different for each camper, as it is relative to how large or small the roof of your camper is. But, as stated before, there is no way of getting around bolting this tie-down brackets to the camper.
