  • Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for a 2012 Kia Sorento
  • Actually we do carry a trailer wiring harness that is confirmed to fit your 2012 Kia Sorento. You would want the Curt Wiring harness part # C56151 if you have the tow package as it has been confirmed to fit your vehicle. Or if you don't have the tow package you would want the # 56146KIT. • Hitch Ball Recommendation for a 2006 GMC Sierra Bumper
  • All bumper ball holes are 3/4 of an inch, so you will need to pick a ball with a 3/4 inch shank diameter. The ball you were looking at, part # 63845, is a 1 inch shank diameter so it wouldn't work for you. If you need a 2 inch hitch ball you would want part # A-82. If you need a 1-7/8 inch ball, you would use part # A-80. Those are our only stainless hitch balls with a 3/4 inch shank. Please note that the A-80 has a capacity of 2,000 pounds whereas A-82 has a capacity of 3,500 pounds.

When you need to make a tight turn you will need to slide the hitch back into the maneuver mode and you will have the clearance to make sharp turns. • Do Hitch Pins and Locks have Weight Capacities
  • Hitch pins and locks don't actually bear any of the weight of a trailer or accessory so they don't have weight ratings. The only weight capacities you need to consider are for the tow vehicle, the hitch, ball mount, and hitch ball. The tongue weight of a trailer puts so much downward force on the ball mount that it binds it up so well in the hitch that the hitch pin doesn't actually have any force put on it.

  • Recommendation for Rack to Carry 4 Bikes on GMC Acadia
  • Assuming that your GMC Acadia is equipped with a 2 inch hitch receiver, my top pick for a 4 bike rack would be the Softride Dura Parallelogram, # SR26247. This by far is my favorite due to the fact that the rack will tilt down for cargo access even while the bikes are still loaded. • Can the PSI Rating of the Dexstar Rim # AM20440 be Exceeded Safely

But I will say that if you do decide to exceed the psi rating for the wheel make sure you have valve stems that are capable of the higher capacity like the # AM20906 as typically the psi capacity for a wheel is limited by the valve stem.

  • Tilting Hitch Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2013 Ford F-150 that Allows Tailgate to Open
  • Most likely yes, but since we haven't had the chance to test the Swagman Bike Rack part # S64960 on a 2013 Ford F-150 like yours it's hard to say for certain. For a similar bike rack that I can confirm will allow you to open your tailgate when tilted check out the Thule Vertex bike rack part # TH9029. Without knowing how much capacity you need it's hard for me to say if this would be enough, but another option that is slightly shorter would be the # BM20 which has a 10k capacity and is 13-1/4 inches from the pin hole to the ball hole.
