This clamp-on fits around a square Thule load bar to provide an attachment point for the mounting clamps of your Thule Ride-On adapter. Clamp-on attaches to mounting clamp with carriage bolt, rectangular washer and hex nut (sold separately).Fits very well as intended. Its about a 99% exact fit for my load bearing roof rack bars.
Works great with attaching my older style fairing to my Thule 444 roof rack. Thule states that the mounts for the 555 fairing are no longer available but if you use this and a M6 square head bolt and an M6 3-wing hand knob they work like a charm for securing the fairing!
Service was excellent and the part did what I needed it to do. Very happy.
They were a good match to the originals, fit correctly and seem to be sturdy.
Waaaayyyy cheaper than buying a replacement from Thule.
Bought these as replacements for cracked and aging mounting hardware for my existing ski racks. Everything came exactly as ordered and fit great on my roof racks. Price with shipping was less than buying directly through Thule! It was really helpful to be able to shop by Thule part number. I actually found this site by googling the part numbers I needed.

I bought these to retrofit my Thule SquareBars for a bike rack that I already had. This part works perfectly with a 6mm carriage bolt to create an attachment point on the SquareBar for just about anything you want to mount!
This part fit my application perfectly... This helped me attach my Thule ski rack to a round cross bar. The original mount that came with rack was for oval bar. Thanks etrailer customer service for helping me solve my problem...
While this is a perfect replacement for the thule piece I had that rusted out ( after about 10 years) . I've found that this one has started to rust out in just a year.
It is the ONLY replacement I've found, and at a great price, so it works great.
If need be , I'll be buying all new ones next year.
( as you can see the other parts are rusting as well,,, but same goes.. only replacement I could find.. so I'll buy those in a year also )

Awesome. These also fit the Universal Square Bar Adapter, which is designed to clamp onto any crossbar or raised rail roof rack, the allow you to mount Thule square crossbars to whatever style rack you may have.
A quick and inexpensive solution to a failed part due to age/weather. These clips allow me to maintain my Thule rack without an expensive purchase! Thanks again etrailer!
Tough to find part that was necessary to use my Thule ski rack that had clips for my old Jeep. etrailer mailed it same day and arrived 2 days later. Great experience.

Product fits perfectly on thule square racks plastic feels a little thinner than original but time will tell......very fast w/shipping

Just what I originally ordered. I did however respond, when I was informed of a back order, to not send the bolts but I got them anyway. (They were not the right size...I forgot to say that)
All good.
These parts are perfect and convenient. No need to go to a hardware store and collect these parts individually for almost the same cost!
