I am impressed with this company. When I placed my order I had instant communication until it was delivered which was quick too I might add. I just installed this in place of the 5 pin flat hookup I had for my boat trailer and I am very satisfied. I got tired of having to tie the connectors together and worry about them every trip I took. Thanks for good service and good products39925

ETrailer had the parts I couldn't locate, anywhere else, at a fair price. Shipping was reasonable and not another profit item as other companies. Shipment was received in two days. Last used for a trailer hitch for my GMC. Always a great company to do business with. Of course I recommend them for all your towing and truck needs.16945

  • Wiring a 5 Wire Volvo Semi Tractor to a 4 Wire Gooseneck Trailer
  • To make the 5 Wire system on the Semi work with the 4 Wire system on the gooseneck trailer you will need to use a converter. The 4-Pole Hardwire Kit with Converter (Includes Tester), item # 119175KIT will provide you with a 4-Way connector that is converted to the 4 wire system on the trailer. You would then need to use either the Adapter 4 Pole to 6 Pole, item # 30637, or the Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole, item # 30717, to complete the conversion to the style of connector that is on the gooseneck tr

  • When Wiring a Motorcycle 5 Pin Round Trailer Plug What is the Standard Wiring Diagram
  • The Pollak 5-Pole, Round Pin Trailer Wiring Sockets, item # PK11502, and # PK11501, do not have a standardized wiring configuration. I normally direct my customers to the 6-way wiring configuration, eliminating the middle pin. Start by wiring the top most connector inside the vehicle end # PK11502, as with the taillight circuit (12 o-clock). Then looking inside the connector, where the wires are attached, going clockwise the next terminal (1 o-clock) position can be wired as brake output, 12

  • How To Connect 7-Way Connector On Jeep To A 5-Way Round Connector On A Trailer
  • While we do not carry a 7-way to a 5-way round trailer connector adapter, you do have an option. I would recommend to remove the 5-pin round connector on your trailer and replace with the Hopkins 7-Way Molded Trailer Wire Connector, 3 Foot Long, part # H20042. This will give you a 7-way on your trailer and you will be able to just plug-in the 7-way trailer connector to the 7-way connector on your Jeep. It comes with a 3 foot long lead that can be wired to your trailers wiring harness. Using

  • Adapting 5 Pin Round Connector on Harley-Davidson to 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector
  • The extra wire on your 5 pin H/D plug will serve one of two purposes. It is either the brake light signal or a constant 12-volt power feed to the trailer. You can easily determine which case you are dealing with by using a circuit tester like part # 40376 on the plug. Activate the turn signals, running lights and brakes to determine which pin carries which circuit. If the extra pin carries a constant 12-volts, and your trailer does not require any power supply, you could simply construct an adap
