I bought this wiring adaptor to provide for an in-bed connection for my slide-in truck camper. I wanted my connection to be at the front of the bed so the length of this adaptor was a concern. But I had PLENTY of length and reaching from the rear of the truck to the front of the bed wasn't an issue at all. In fact, I had about 1 extra foot to spare. Installation was as easy as I had hoped. It plugged right into existing harness and I was up and running in about 2 hours - which includes time to drill the hole in the bed of my truck, time to adequately drill a hole for the grounding wire, time to zip tie the wire to the frame. My only complaint (and its a small one) is that the kit could've come with more zip ties. I needed to dip into my own stock of them to properly secure the cord to the frame of the truck. I hauled my camper just this past weekend and everything worked flawlessly. I gladly recommend this product. Fast shipping, great customer support, no problems at all. Thanks guys. 78649

Replaced the factory 5th wheel harness with the 40167 harness on my 2003 f350 Super Duty 6.0L long bed. Snap fit! I also added a bumper mount Pollack 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer connector HM40975-11998 Vehicle end splicing in my old 7-Pole factory plug (pulled the red insulator out of the factory plug end) to connect the the HM40975-11998 plug. I can now connect in the bed or to a pull behind with a 7 or 4 way. Slide in camper, 5vr, or trailer is now no problem. Thanks etrailer!47332
