Today, we're going to review part number HM80037. This is the Hopkins Ice Scraper Snow Broom Combo with extendable handle and an extra long reach. When the great outdoors turn cold and freezing and they're not that great anymore, dont stress or stretch yourself. You can sweep off every inch of the snow or ice for many angle with the soft bristle brush and the squeegee on the pivoting broom head. Near the handle, you'll find an extra wide scraper blade for those particularly rough patches and you'll not have to strain to reach any part of your vehicle with this 60-inch aluminum telescopic pole. This ice scraper and snow broom combo is an extendable snow broom.

It has a quick lock extension pole. Basically, there's a quick release lever here. If you push this lever and pull the pole out, it will lock into a couple of different positions. Fully extend it, this the fully extended position. It would be 60 inches which would be a nice length like if you're using it on large trucks, SUVs, or RVs.

Then if you just release it, you push the pole and, again, it will lock into position. Release it and put it all the way up. The fully collapsed position on this broom would measure 39 inches long and, again, I mentioned the fully extended is 60 inches. Now on this end, it also has an aluminum pivoting broom and it has seven positions that you can angle this broom head on into as you just push these buttons right here. Right now, it's in one position so if you push it, it will be two, three, four, five, six, and there's seven.

You could rotate this pivoting broom all the way around by just pushing these buttons. This pivoting broom part is also a very lightweight aluminum. On the one side is this window squeegee which is a hard rubber that you can use to squeegee water or light ice off of your windshields. On the other side of this broom are the two rows of soft tip bristles which will make it easy when you have snow or ice on the finish or on the paint of your vehicle. You can sweep this off, knowing that these bristles being a soft tip bristle will not do any damage or scratching to your paint finish.

It does have a nice comfortable cushion grip right here. Also on the other end where this plastic scraper blade is, it also has a cushioned grip you could hold on to. It gives you nice grip when you need leverage on it. Now, the nice feature on this plastic scraper blade on the other end, I want to give you the width on it. It is going to be 4-1/2 inches wide and it does have a nice straight edge right here that you can use to scrape a needle, light ice, or snow off. If you have a solid sheet of ice on like your windshield and scraping it would just run over the solid sheet, what you can do is turn it over. There are actually six hard plastic points on this other end right in here. Just turn it over and if you run that over the solid sheet of ice, these ice chippers or points here will break up the ice then you'll be able to scrape it off or use the broom to broom it off. It does have a hole here for hanging storage. Again, this extension pole is a nice lightweight aluminum. The pivoting broom head is aluminum. I just want to show you again how the quick release lever will work to extend this pole out. Just push the lever down. As you pull it, it will lock into the hole. The holes are right along the edge here and fully extend it. Me like that. If you want to fully collapse it, it locks into place. Now, if we show you the pivoting again, basically, you can go all the way around. That should do it for review on part number HM80037.
