Today, were going to review part number HM16619. This is the Hopkins Ice Crusher Extendable Ice Scraper with Snow Brush and Squeegee. When the snow starts falling and the ice starts freezing, you can scrape it, brush it, or squeegee it off every inch of your vehicle with this extendable handle and swiveling head. Basically, theres a little button here, and if you push, it you can extend this out and lock it into a couple of different positions right along here. There are holes that this will lock into. A fully extended position would be 51 inches long overall.

If you need just to go shorter, you can pick whatever position you like. If its fully collapsed, it would give you about 33 inches overall. This is a highly durable product. It has a pivoting snow broom right here, if you push these buttons right here. If you push them in, theres a three-position.

Push it again and push it, and it will position this snow broom in three different positions and locks it into place. This snow broom actually has dual action bristles. I dont know if you can see, but on the inside, there are shorter blue color bristles and those will provide strength then the outside as these black soft bristles for gentle snow cleaning. On the other side is a squeegee which will help clean slush from your windshield and then right here on the very edge are ice chippers. You might be able to see there are points on it that will help you run over the ice and will break up the ice, sort of make it easy to sweep off.

Another nice feature, they do put a little indentation right here which is nice that you can put your thumb into if you need to really scrape and again over here is the hard rubber squeegee that can be used to squeegee any water slush off your ice, off your windshield. It has a nice foam padding on both ends. When youre using it, it gives you a nice comfortable grip. Again on this edge, the scraper on this edge has a straight edge all the way across. That would be used like if you have any frost or light ice on there.

You can just scrape it off. Again, it will have that indentation right here that you can use to apply leverage. Let me just give you a measurement on this. The width of this plastic scraper blade is 4-1/2 inches and the width on the broom is right about 8 inches, same on the squeegee. Again, just to demonstrate how this would operate. If you need to get to use it for a long reach on a large vehicle, you can just push down right here and that will allow you to pull it out and just pull it until it locks into whatever position you need. Thats the fully extended position and then, again, you can angle the broom just by pushing in here. It will lock into three different positions.
