- If I understand you correctly, you are wanting to lift a bed directly off the floor, correct? If so, you would benefit more from a crane winch, such as the Superwinch C1000, item # 03002. The winch in your original e-mail is only rated for direct line pulls. As long as the bed and anything on it weighs less that 1,000 pounds, this crane winch should work fine for you.

- When installing the rocker switch wiring harness you need to use a wire that goes hot when the ignition switch is turned on. On my Polaris I used the wire that came from the accessory (cigarette lighter) plug because it is only hot when the key is turned on, this may be the case for you also.
