These additional leaf springs add support and sway control to your existing OEM suspension. Just bolt on SuperSprings over your existing factory springs, and they automatically work when you need them. As the factory spring flexes, a roller at each end of the beefy helper spring reacts to engage the helper spring and to provide extra support. The springs help to better distribute cargo weight throughout your existing suspension, channeling that weight to the points on the frame that are designed to support heavy loads.

Placing these leaf springs above your factory springs helps to keep your OEM springs from twisting, so the SuperSprings act like a sway bar, reducing the body roll that makes driving more difficult and dangerous. With these helper springs, driving is safer and easier when it's windy, when your Toyota T100 Pickup is rocked by a passing semitruck and when cornering. The springs help to reduce sway by up to 30 percent. SuperSprings also allow more wheel travel in the rear suspension when they are under load, so they maintain traction and ride comfort better than rubber or polyurethane bumpers.   • For greater support and ride height when your suspension is under a constant load or if you have an older automobile with some spring fatigue, install the helper springs using the upper bolt holes
  • To maintain the factory ride and reduce the effect on your ride height, install using the lower bolt holes
  • To balance support, height and ride comfort, install using the upper hole on one end and the lower hole on the other

SuperSprings are a maintenance-free, low-cost alternative to air spring systems, which require constant monitoring and air pressure adjustment. These helper leaf springs respond automatically to the load you carry, so there is no crawling under your truck to adjust them. An additional mounting kit is included for installation with factory springs that set above the axle.


For Toyota T100 Pickups with factory leaf springs that set above the axle, this mounting kit ensures that SuperSprings operate silently when the Toyota T100 Pickup isn't loaded. When factory springs set below the axle, the axle itself serves as a fulcrum for the helper leaf springs. However, for Toyota T100 Pickups that have OEM springs that set above the axle, the 2-inch brackets in the mounting kit act as fulcrum points on the underside of the SuperSprings. Furthermore, the shackles at the ends of the helper springs hold them in place and pivot as the load is transferred to the SuperSprings. Because there is minimal preload tension in the installed SuperSprings, you get a quieter ride.


Note: The additional mounting kit (MTKT - included) provides U-bolts with a leg length of 4 inches. If your application requires that you use the additional mounting kit and if your existing factory springs have had extra leaves added, longer U-bolts may be required to complete the SuperSprings installation. Also, some older Chevrolet 3/4-ton and 1-ton models (Chevy C/K 2500, Chevy C/K 3500, Chevy Silverado 2500, Chevy 3500, GMC Sierra) have thicker factory springs that may require longer U-bolts.


To determine if you need longer U-bolts, measure the thickness of your existing leaf spring where it sets directly above the axle. If this measurement is greater than 2-3/4 inches, you will need the longer 5-1/4 inch U-bolts (SS112219-4).

I got this to prevent bottoming out my truck when towing our travel trailer. Won't know for sure if this actually works until we load up. Having said that, the instructions provided with this are poor and talking with Supersprings tech support was frustrating. As mentioned elsewhere, you will need two "C" clamps to pre-load the spring and I wound up fabricating a 3" extension bracket for the brake lines; neither of which were mentioned in the instructions. I also removed the wheels to provide working space and air tools are definitely the way to go. On my '13 Tundra, the distance between the stock spring pack straps is 40" the same as the distance between the eyes on the Superspring. I was advised that the spring is mounted off-center to avoid conflict with the stock spring straps; however this in not mentioned in the instructions. This placed the Superspring about 4" forward of the center of the axel instead of centered on the axel. (see photos) This seems counterintuitive to me but we'll see. This added 1.5" in height to the rear of the truck. It took me 4 hours to install by my self, including time to fabricate the brake line extensions and dealing with Supersprings staff twice on the phone. During the second call, the tech mentioned that they get a lot of phone calls for Tundra installs, indicating to me that they already know there are issues with the product and instructions. In retrospect, I would look for a new spring pack if I was doing this again. Hopefully my suspicions are unfounded but I'm hanging on to the box just incase. Product does just what it says it does. Installed them on a Thursday and towed with them that weekend....... and they did a great job. Handled the tongue weight of my dump trailer better. I did notice a decreased amount of "wave" effect when you are in tow and your heavy trailer hits a bump or swale in the road; and transfers that energy to the truck. Sorta feels like you got a heavy tail that someone is tugging on. This was significantly reduced and made for a pleasant ride Later on Sunday then threw a load of firewood (no trailer this time) in the bed full; and in comparison of a previous haul with wood the truck did not sag as much. My truck config is stock, double cab w/ 8' bed 4x4. I did not notice a stiffness in ride with and empty bed or no trailer in tow. Seemed to be just fine. Slightly raised the rear but with the long truck it is hardly noticeable. One part of the installation was a little difficult, when it came time to compress the leaf it was a bit of a chore. I did have a 5" c-clamp but it was getting tough the last few inches to get the roller underneath the stock leafs. If I had a special leaf spring clamp tool as shown on some of the youtube vids I would have been done in about a 1/2 hour but with out this tool it makes the compression part slow. 145702

I just finished the installation. I ran into a few problems specific to the 2008 F350 dually that were not called out in the instructions. I had to loosen all of the parking brake cable mounts running along the spring on the left side to get the spring in, and I had to modify the brake cable bracket that mounts on the axle u-bolt bracket. It still only took about 1 1/2 hours to complete the job. I used the bottom hole on the front shackle and the center hole on the rear shackle and got about 2 inches rise which I needed for the Lance 1181 Camper I haul. It rides and performs much better than I expected. Great product that performs as advertised! 86608

This product is excellent and easy to install w/o altering or affecting any OEM parts or infrastructure. It's truly an add-on. The springs added about 2-4 inches of clearance and balanced load more evenly throughout the vehicle. I noticed how the vehicle drove and cornered much better as well as adding to a balanced vehicle appearance. I'm very impressed and happy. Prior to installation I had loss of traction in front steering and that was gone after installation. I would not hesitate to buy this product again or to recommend it to anyone. The pricing and service was excellent. I love.......the product. I've attached a photo with a add-on trailer-hitched basket with weigh of about 300 lbs of overhang on the back of the vehicle. Part arrived and looked great. Very easy to install. Only two things that can be fixed is that the springs only go on one way and they are not marked front/rear, and its not real clear how the the rubber spacer is used. I installed these on a 2005 ford F-150 Supercrew and I pull a 30 foot travel trailer. I have installed air bags to level the truck/trailer, but at 50psi the kids in the back seat got beat up due to the poor ride. I'm hoping these springs will level the truck/trailer and give us a better ride. We going up north this weekend and I hope i can re-post how the trip went. 280234

I replaced them with some grade 8 bolts from the hardware store. They are only needed to hold the new spring in place when the vehicle is raised off the ground. Great item!! The Supersprings performed just as described. No more sag in the suspension and the benefit of better control. Installation was an hour with the help of an experienced mechanic and the right tools. If it wasn't for removing of the bumb stops on the axle, installation would have been faster. Expensive product, but it is a quality product and made in the USA. After install, the springs raised the rear of the truck about 2" to 3" when unloaded.
