These additional leaf springs add support and sway control to your existing OEM suspension. Just bolt on SuperSprings over your existing factory springs, and they automatically work when you need them. As the factory spring flexes, a roller at each end of the beefy helper spring reacts to engage the helper spring and to provide extra support. The springs help to better distribute cargo weight throughout your existing suspension, channeling that weight to the points on the frame that are designed to support heavy loads.

Placing these leaf springs above your factory springs helps to keep your OEM springs from twisting, so the SuperSprings act like a sway bar, reducing the body roll that makes driving more difficult and dangerous. With these helper springs, driving is safer and easier when it's windy, when your Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty is rocked by a passing semitruck and when cornering. The springs help to reduce sway by up to 30 percent. SuperSprings also allow more wheel travel in the rear suspension when they are under load, so they maintain traction and ride comfort better than rubber or polyurethane bumpers. That means they're great for drivers who frequently tow.


You can also customize the level of support provided by SuperSprings. For most models, the shackles that attach the helper leaf springs to your existing leaf springs have several installation options:

For some models with factory springs located above the axle, the kit includes poly spring pads. These dense polyurethane blocks seat between the top of the factory springs and the underside of the SuperSprings to prevent shifting.

Today on our 2005 Ford F350 well be installing the Super Springs custom suspension stabilizer and weight control kit, part number SSA22. The system will reinforce the vehicles rear suspension with an extra lead spring that prevents sagging and reduce sway by up to 30%. To install our Super Springs weve already gone ahead and raised the vehicle and removed the rear wheels. This will allow us easier access to the manufacturers lead springs. Next well remove the nylon lock nut and nylon bushing from the shackle bolt on the Super Spring. Now with the shackle bolts removed, well sit that aside and move to the manufacturers lead spring pack.
Here well install the PSP-1 spacer. This will sit on top of the manufacturers lead spring pack with the flat side facing up. Now we can take our Super Springs bare lead and sit it on top of the manufacturers lead spring pack. Next well go ahead and start reinstalling the shackle bolts for our Super Spring, going around the manufacturers lead spring pack. As we put the bolt through the bracket of the shackle then do the eyelet of the lead spring, do the second bracket of the shackle.
Well install the nylon space and secure it with a nylon lock nut. Now with the front done well move to the rear. Here itll be necessary to use a clamp device to compress the spring in order to install the shackle. Ill be using a large C clamp. Now with my spring compressed well go ahead and repeat the same process of reinstalling the shackle onto the Super Spring going around the manufacturers lead spring pack.
Now with all my hardware in place well go ahead and remove the clamp and tighten down the shackle bolts. Now with the front done well move to the rear. With both sides installed and secured this will complete the installation of our Super Springs custom suspension stabilizer and sway control kit, part number SSA22, on our 2005 Ford F350.
