Today we are going to review part number Du30017. This is the Du-Ha truck storage box and gun case for under the rear seat. This part is colored with dark gray. This is a custom design storage bin to fit the 2002 to 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad cab or a Crew cab. It will also fit the 2003 to 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 or 3500 Quad cab or Crew cab. This is a under seat storage bin that will store tools, guns and many more items.

It will keep the items from cluttering the seats and the floor of your vehicle and you can store your valuables out of sight. This large bin will extend under both rear seats. It is made of a heavy-duty polyethylene plastic, which will withstand the punishment of everyday use. And again it is custom designed to fit your vehicle and the color will match your trucks interior. On this part number, the color is black.

Now it does comes with two dividers that can also be used as gun racks and a mounting screw and basically these dividers what you would do with this, is theres two pieces, one is a very hard plastic material. The other is a dense form, which is a softer material, and it has cutouts right here for the guns to lay or sit in and because it is a softer material it wont do any damage to the guns. Basically, what you want to do is match them up and on the insides, theres slots that that are molded into the storage bin and basically you would slide your divider right in there like that and this is the same way, two piece and it would slide in the slot just like that. And that would give you three separate compartments plus it will give you two sections that are cutout to where you can store two guns. One of them with a scope and actually this is a legal gun case in most states, and what you want to do when this is installed on the Dodge Ram, now this does not fit a mega cab model.

It will not fit if you have the factory navigation systems and if you have a factory sub-woofer, the sub-woofer would have to be removed for this to fit and then what you would to do when you install this is you would remove the metal factory trays and lead system that are on your vehicle now. And this will replace that and this will basically seat down in your storage system that you have now. And this bolt basically, there's a pre-drilled hole right down in here. And what you would do is on your vehicle theres a pushpin that is pushed into the back of the cup holder. You would just remove that and use this to screw in there and that will screw into that hole thats already and that will hold the storage bin in place.

And Im going to give you a few dimensions on this storage bin. Basically the overall width will be 57-1/2 inches. Length at the widest here is 15-1/2 and 15-1/2 there and in the middle is about 12-1/2 and on each compartment roughly, this one is about 11 inches, middle is about 29 inches and over here is about 15 inches. And I'm going to give you the depth of this, is about 10 inches, yap, itd be about 10 inches on the depth of the storage box. Now this part is made in the USA, and it does come with a limited lifetime warranty and that should do it for part number DU30017.
