Contemporary styling and a flashy red finish are just 2 features that make this trunk-mounted 3-bike carrier perfect for your sedan, hatchback or SUV. It also has a 6-strap mounting system, anti-sway cradles and a security strap that deters theft.

Specs:
A contemporary design and unique, red paint finish make the SuperJoe a stylish way to transport three bikes on the trunk of your sedan, hatchback, minivan or SUV.

A QuickTrigger hub system takes the strain and frustration out of fitting the rack to your Nissan Altima. Just turn the dials to adjust the padded rack feet, and they conform to the contours of your Nissan Altima, providing solid footing for the rack.
The SuperJoe Pro attaches to your Nissan Altima with a built-in, six-strap system. The strap buckles are labeled to make setup a snap, and the hooks ensure that the bike rack is properly anchored to your Nissan Altima.

The bike rack includes StableCradle anti-sway cradles that hold your bikes securely in place with rubber straps. The cradles prevent the bikes from rocking back and forth during transport and also help keep them from hitting your Nissan Altima.
The narrowly spaced arms of the bike rack are perfect for loading bikes of varying shapes and sizes.

SuperJoe Pro comes with glass hatch hooks for installing the unit on Nissan Altimas with glass hatchbacks or gate mounts and on other hard-to-fit Nissan Altimas. These anchors replace the standard strap-and-hook assemblies on your bike rack and mount through the hatch opening of your Nissan Altima.

All right, today we're going to review part number Y02630 from Yakima, the SuperJoe Pro 3. We'll go ahead and start off our review by covering all the features that are on the bike rack. The first feature we'll point out are the cradles. Now in this bike rack, it will carry three bikes and each set of cradles has an anti-sway cradle. This is the strap for a top tube of the bicycle and this is the strap for the anti-sway part of the cradle. Now, the anti-sway part can move back and forth to come in different types and styles of the bikes.
That's the side with the anti-sway cradle. Now, the other side is the same cradle except minus D anti-sway part. The bottom of the cradle has a smooth surface. All right, next feature we'll show you how a bicycle rack adapts itself to different vehicles. We'll pull out on the gray knobs on the side and turn them just a bit to unlock them.
Therefore, we can adjust the bicycle rack to the type of car we're working with. Always refer to instructions for a right distance needed for your particular vehicle. We'll demonstrate that next. Our instructions call off for a distance of 16 inches. That is measured between the two rivets on the bicycle, located here and here.
Next feature will be the straps themselves and you can see how they're labeled for a location as they go, the top which would go over the trunk, the side which goes to the side of the trunk, and the bottom that will go to the edge by the bumper. We're looking at the driver's side as identical on the passenger's side. And for your excellent strengths of the straps, the straps also have a loop in there to help bundle up the extra strap when everything is tied down. All right, last thing we'll take a look at will be the padding on the bike rack that connects to the car. You will see there's a generous amount of surface area for the padding to attach to the car.
Now, one thing you want to note is that it is a soft material, yet you want to keep these pads clean when you attach it to your car, and likewise, you want to keep the attachment points on your car clean as well to keep from dirt, from getting in between the pads and the paint and scratching up your paint. Okay, at this point, we can go ahead and attach it to our car. We'll put it in place onto the trunk and then we'll go ahead and run the top straps to the edge of the trunk. Then we'll connect our side straps and then our bottom straps. We'll go ahead and pull the straps tight and we'll check to make sure it's secure. Okay, with the bicycle rack secured to the car, we can go ahead and bundle up the straps and get ready to load up the bike. When we load up our bike, we'll make sure that the straps are out of the way for the cradles we're going to use and that the anti-sway part of the cradle is moved towards the center. It helps loading up the bikes a little bit easier. All right, we'll take the bike. We'll balance it out on the cradles then we'll swing the anti-sway part of the cradle back down to the seat tube of the bike. We'll strap it in place and then we'll run the remaining tube straps over the top tube of the bike and secure them as well. With the bike loaded up, we can go ahead and attach two of our accessory straps. The short strap is used between the wheel and the frame of the bike to keep the handle bars straight. The longer strap is designed to run through the frame of the bike rack and the frame of the bikes to act as an additional safety strap. One of the other accessories that comes with this bicycle rack is it has a glass hatch adapter. For vehicles with a glass hatch, this will fit between the glass and the bodywork of the vehicle. Now, our vehicle doesnt have a glass hatch, but we can still demonstrate how it works. We'll take it and drop it behind the trunk hatch, lower on the inside. Make sure it's all the way on the in then well go ahead and shut the hatch and pull it tight. This way, you can use this instead of hooks that come with the bicycle rack that are already installed. And with that, that will finish it for our review of part number Y02630, the SuperJoe Pro 3.

Product was good, but when I went to mount my wife's bike on it I realized it wouldn't fit. I call Yakima Product Suport, and they explained to my I needed an adapter bar for female bikes. I did not know this, but I orded an adapter today from your site. Hopefully there isn't anything else I forgot....51292
