The contemporary, low-profile design; silver paint finish; and folding arms are just a few reasons why the Yakima KingJoe Pro is an exceptional trunk-mounted bike carrier for owners of sedans, hatchbacks, minivans and SUVs.
A QuickTrigger hub system takes the strain and frustration out of fitting the rack to your Ford Explorer. Just turn the dials to adjust the padded rack feet, and they conform to the contours of your Ford Explorer, providing solid footing for the rack.
The KingJoe Pro attaches to your Ford Explorer with a built-in, six-strap system. The straps' coated hooks are labeled to make setup a snap, and the hooks ensure that the bike rack is properly anchored to your Ford Explorer.
The narrowly spaced arms of the bike rack help with loading bikes of varying shapes and sizes. The arms fold down for storage when you depress a red tab mounted on the inside of each arm. Because the arms adjust independently of the rack base, you can ensure that your bikes will have a level and stable ride no matter what Ford Explorer the rack is mounted on.
The bike rack also includes StableCradle anti-sway cradles that hold your bikes securely in place with rubber straps. The cradles prevent the bikes from rocking back and forth during transport and also help keep them from hitting your Ford Explorer.
KingJoe Pro comes with glass hatch hooks for installing the unit on Ford Explorers with glass hatchbacks or gate mounts and on other hard-to-fit Ford Explorers. These anchors replace the standard strap-and-hook assemblies on your bike rack and mount through the hatch opening of your Ford Explorer.

Video Transcript for Yakima KingJoe Pro Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2012 Chevrolet Impala
Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Impala well be test fitting the Yakima Kingjoe Pro Two trunk mounted bike carrier, part number Y02624. To begin our test fit we will first need to look at the instructions or the Yakima fit guide to determine the placement of the hooks and the position on the trunk. Following this well set up the carrier onto the vehicle. Well put the top hooks to the top part of the trunk, the side hooks to the side part of the trunk next to the taillights, and the bottom hooks to the bottom part of the trunk. Well then tighten up the straps to secure it to the vehicle. We can then secure the access strap into the included rubber loops.
Once the carrier is secured to the vehicle were ready to load our bike. Well then flip out the red levers on the inside edges of the carrier to bring out the cradle arms. Its important to make sure that the cradle arms are level or slightly angled up to ensure a good fit for the bike. Well undo the cradle straps, set the bike into the frame cradles and secure it with the straps. That completes todays test fit for the Yakima Kingjoe Pro Two trunk mounted bike carrier, part number Y02624 on our 2012 Chevrolet Impala..

Yakima trunk mount racks fit the 2007-2011 models, but will not fit the 2012 and up.

No photo yet but love the ease of adjusting the bicycle carrier to my car and know it will be just as simple to put on my wife's car. Sorry no photo...hard rain and thunder this evening but was handy to transport to the bike store as my wife prepares for a mini-trathlon.
P.S.: amazingly prompt delivery! Chose a model that would fit both a Kia Forte and a Mitsubishi Outlander...nice!78753
Unfortunately I can't rate the quality of the product because I can't use it. I have a 26" Mongoose Mountain Bike with Full Suspension Performance and it will not fit on this rack. There is not enough space between the upper and lower tubes of the bike to safely secure my bike. I tried multiple variations of attaching my bike and it just doesn't fit. As for installation, the website stated it was compatible with a 2012 Toyota Prius V. The measurement guide in the box did not include my vehicle type, so determining a safe and secure length for the hooks was based on trial and error. I was able to attach it to my Prius V, and had my bike fit I'm sure it would have held. I must say the service I have received from eTrailer has been phenomenal. Once I notified the company that my bike didn't fit, I receive return instructions almost immediately. Great job and thanks. 69486
Sometimes an adapter bar is necessary to mount alternative shape frames like mountain bikes and womens bikes or step-throughs. That might have worked for your Mongoose. Check out part Y02531.

This is an awesom bike rack looks good on my CR-V and Toyota Camry. 60060
The initial directions were wrong which necessitated me calling the manufacturer. They were very accommodating and provided the correct information. After using it on vacation one of the rubber bike holders is tearing as is on of the rubber guards on the grip holding a strap, therefore I will have to contact them again.

So far, so good. Installed the bike rack yesterday. Installation was simple and clear. Putting my bike on it this afternoon. It fits, as advertised! The folks at etrailer were awesome to work with! 33761
Due to the location of the spare tire, a strap-mounted bike rack will not work with your CRV. I would suggest the SportRack Spare Tire 3 Bike Rack, part # A30813STL. SportRack is owned by Thule, so there is no doubt that it is a quality bike rack. I spoke with my Thule representative, who tells me that this rack should fit with no problem, as long as you have the standard OEM sized spare tire.
We have an excellent video that features this rack being installed on a CRV, see the provided link view full answer...
Since the 2003 Honda CR-V came with a rear mount spare tire, you will need to use a spare tire mount rack. The only 3 bike option we have is the SportRack 3 Bike Carrier Spare Tire Mount Bike Rack, # A30813STL. While it is very likely the rack will fit, to be sure I recommend taking a few measurements.
The spare tire will need to have a wheel diameter of 15 inches or less, and a center opening that is at least 2 inches in diameter. You will also need to measure to determine if the bracket th view full answer...

Yes, the Yakima KingJoe Pro 3-bike rack # Y02625 would work on both your 2002 Ford Explorer Sport and 2010 Ford Fusion. Please note, however, that the weight limit for 3 bikes is going to be 90lbs.
If you are planning on carrying womens bikes or bikes with alternative frame styles, you may also need the Yakima Tube Top bike adapter bar # Y02531. You can view a video review and the assembly instructions for the adapter bar at the included links.

I have good news and bad news. First, the bad news is that the only trunk mount bike racks that are recommended for the 2005 Toyota Solara are 2 bike racks, because the attachment points on the vehicle are not capable of supporting 3 bikes and a trunk mounted 3 bike rack.
The 2 bike racks that will work on the 2005 Toyota Solara are the Thule Archway, # TH9009XT, the Thule Passage, # TH910XT, the Thule Gateway, # TH9006XT, and the Thule Raceway, # TH9001. Of these choices the Raceway rack is view full answer...
The Yakima KingJoe Pro 3 Bike Rack, part # Y02625, will fit your 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser. It uses the included Glass Hatch adapters in place of the upper straps. Using the Glass Hatch adapters will limit the load to two bikes only at 45 lbs per bike.
You will not want to open the trunk or hatchback with the bike rack installed. Opening the hatch or trunk with bike rack installed could cause damage to the vehicle.

The KingJoe Pro 3, # Y02625, is listed as a fit for your 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser. In order to install the bike rack, you will need to use the glass hook adapters which are included with the rack. However, when using this rack with the glass hatch adapter, you will be limited to carrying just 2 bikes. Unless you had another vehicle that is compatible and could hold 3 bikes, I would just go with the 2 bike model, # Y02624.
Another option is to use a Thule rack if you want to carry 3 bikes. I r view full answer...
We have a couple of options for carrying bike on your 2010 Volvo XC60, but I checked with my contact at Yakima and they do not offer a trunk mounted bike rack option for your vehicle, because the vehicle is unable to support the weight at the point where their carrier must be placed.
My first choice would be a hitch and hitch mounted bike rack, because the hitch will allow you to attach other items as your needs may change in the future. You may find yourself needing a cargo carrier or might view full answer...
We have several trunk mount bike rack options for a 2004 Dodge Stratus sedan and coupe models. I have included a link to the available options for you. If you like the KingJoe Pro model the 2 bike version is # Y02624. It will fit the coupe or sedan.

Yes, the Yakima KingJoe Pro 3 Bike Rack, # Y02625, will fit on your 2010 Toyota Corolla 4dr Sedan. The upper straps will hook at the top edge of the trunk, the lower straps will hook to the bottom edge of the trunk and the side straps will hook to the side edge of the trunk. The lower support frame will rest on the lower portion of the license plate.

There is a bike rack solution I could offer you, but I checked with all of our trunk mounted bike rack manufacturers and none of them make one that is confirmed to fit your 2011 Toyota Rav4.
I believe your best option would be to install a hitch if you do not have one already, and then install a hitch mounted bike carrier. If needed, I would recommend a Draw Tite Hitch # 75432 for you vehicle. I attached installation instructions and an installation video for this product for you to check out view full answer...
According to the fine folks at Yakima, the KingJoe Pro you mentioned, part # Y02625 is indeed a fit for your 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe. If your Santa Fe is equipped with a rear windshield wiper, make sure you do not use it when the rack is installed. The rack has a 60 lb capacity when used with two bikes.
For easy install and removal, the Thule Raceway, part # TH9001 might be a better choice. Instead of the clumsy strap and buckle attachment method used by other racks, the Raceway uses 4 ratcheti view full answer...
If your 2001 Toyota Celica with the rear spoiler looks like the one in the picture I have included then there are a couple of trunk mount bike racks that you can use. First, you can use the KingJoe Pro 3, # Y02625 that you have referenced. The other possibility is the 2 bike version of this same rack, # Y02624. So either of the racks you are interested in will fit if your Celica looks like the one pictured.

I do have a solution for carrying bikes on your 2012 Audi Q5 but none of the trunk mount racks will fit. What I recommend is to install a trailer hitch, # 75708, and a trailer hitch mount bike rack like the Titan, # S63405.
The Titan comes with anti-sway cradles, and integrated cable lock, and the ability to tilt away from the vehicle. I have included some links on the hitch and bike rack for you to view. view full answer...
I do have a trunk bike rack that will fit your 2010 Infiniti FX35, but it will not be the Yakima KingJoe Pro 3 Bike Rack, part # Y02625. Yakima does not have a trunk bike rack to fit the Infiniti FX35 because the side strap hooks on the bike rack cannot be securely attached.
I would recommend the Thule Raceway 3 Bike rack, part # TH9002, for your FX35. The Raceway is the easiest to install and remove bike rack I have ever seen. It uses retractable cables instead of straps to secure the rack t view full answer...
The Yakima KingJoe Pro 3 Bike Rack, # Y02625, would be an excellent choice for your 2009 Acura MDX. Of the trunk mounted options that are available for your vehicle this one is among the easiest to install and remove and will allow you to attach the bikes easily.
Using a trunk mount bike rack on your 2009 Acura MDX would require you to remove the rack each time you needed to access the back of the vehicle. For this reason I recommend using a trailer hitch and hitch mounted bike rack.

The Thule brand trunk mount bike racks are all listed as a fit for a 2011 Hyundai Accent 3-Door hatchback. For 2 bikes I recommend the Raceway, # TH9001. This rack secures to the vehicle using 4 retractable cables, rather than 6 straps like other bike racks.
This method of installation makes installing and/or removing the rack fast and easy. You can lock the cable positions so the rack cannot be easily removed from the vehicle, and there is an integrated cable lock to secure the bikes to the view full answer...
