A Rightline SUV tent is an economical alternative to a camper. It connects to your vehicle to add more living and sleeping space for camping. The alligator clamp allows easy removal of the tent when you want to use your SUV. Sleeps up to 8 adults.
A Rightline SUV tent is more economical choice than a camper. Better yet, it allows you to use your vehicle's cargo space and power receptacles to enhance your camping experience. This roomy tent sleeps up to five adults in the main tent and up to three more people in the screened room when you use a ground tarp (sold separately). It also works with minivans, wagons, crossovers and trucks with caps. The large doors and windows have storm covers for those rainy days, and no-see-um mesh to block pesky bugs.
The UV-protected, fire-resistant tent fabric is specifically designed for camping, and it is WeatherGuard treated for waterproofing.
The included rain fly fits over the main room of the tent for protection from wet weather. The 130G polyethylene plastic bathtub-style floor on the main tent blocks water at the tent base. The tent also fits snugly over the sides and rear hatch of your vehicle so that water can't run inside.
This large tent is packed with special features to make camping easier and more fun. A floorless, screened section hosts all your dining and game playing while protecting you from outdoor pests. You can also add chairs, tables and coolers to this room without fear of damaging a tent floor. Organize your camping supplies using the four gear pockets inside the tent. And use the glow-in-the-dark zipper pulls to find your way out of the tent at night without having to feel around in the dark.
Heavy-duty straps and nylon buckles secure the tent to your SUV body without scratching the finish.
At the top, the tent buckles to your roof rack's rear crossbar. If you don't have a roof rack, extended straps hook onto your windshield wipers. The picture on the left shows the straps attaching to the crossbar on a roof rack, and the picture on the right shows the tent straps hooked onto the windshield wipers of a vehicle without a roof rack. Standard tent poles, guy lines and stakes are also used for setup.
The adjustable alligator clamping sleeve attaches securely to your vehicle, but it is easy to remove when you want to hit the road. The picture above shows the tent detached from your SUV. You won't leave behind a gaping hole - the tent opening zips up to secure your shelter until you return.
A storage bag with handles protects your tent in the off season.
