Get your sleeping bags off the cold, wet ground and into the comfort and safety of your truck bed. A CampRight truck tent lets you camp anywhere you can park your Ford Ranger, without the hassle of tarps, stakes and guy lines. And the floorless design means that you can set up your two-person tent without unloading the truck bed. Just leave all your camping supplies in the bed and soon they'll be under cover.

The UV-protected, fire-resistant tent fabric is specifically designed for camping, and it is WeatherGuard treated for waterproofing. The tent fits over the sides and tailgate of your truck bed so that water can't run inside. A rain fly with clear vinyl windows can be installed over the top of the tent for protection from wet weather.

The tent offers plenty of windows for light and ventilation, including a skylight for stargazing. The windows also have a mesh lining to keep bugs out. A cab sleeve provides quick access to your truck through your cab's sliding rear window.
This large tent is also packed with special features to make camping easier and more fun. Organize your camping supplies using the four gear pockets inside the tent. Hang lanterns, muddy shoes and more using the six D-rings attached to the tent. Use the glow-in-the-dark zipper pulls to find your way out of the tent at night without having to feel around in the dark. The CampRight truck-bed tent gets you through the night in comfort.

The diagram above shows how the tent attaches to most trucks. (Cargo rings are not necessary for installation.) The heavy-duty straps and nylon buckles secure the tent to your truck body without scratching the finish. The color-coded poles make assembly quick and easy, and the instructions are sewn right into the stuff sack so that they never get lost.

I am setting up my new truck tent that I am getting from RightLine Gear. It is the new Campright Truck Tent that can be purchased online or many of your retail sporting outlets. Before you order one online or get from your local store, the first thing you want to do is you want to measure and make sure you got the right size. The important measurement here is to measure it from the front of your truck bed to the inside of the tailgate when its closed. On the box, you will find a sizing guide and that is also available online. Looking at this one here, looks like I have got the right tent.
I got the tent out and one of the nice things about this design is its a unique floor-less design. I do not have to take my gear out of the truck. I will just leave it right where it is. Now, lets figure out how to set this up. Look at this, the instructions are sewn right into the stuff sack. That makes it convenient.
Well, the first thing you want to do is make sure that the tent is arranged in the bed of the truck with the screen side up and then I will take the tailgate sleeve and put it over the tailgate. Make sure these straps are loose enough so everything fits. So far the setup has been pretty easy. You do the same on both sides.
The corner is going to go through the top of the bed like this, and get this all running straight. Hook the hooks under the side panels and, with it all straight, just snug it up here. There you go. CampRight has made it easy for us to set this up. All of the poles are shock corded so they stay together and everything is color coded. There is a little band of material here that is gray and the gray color on your pole pocket along with the gray poles.
Green-green, red-red and the other gray. I have inserted these on the other side into the properly corresponding pole pockets. Having done that, well just go ahead and begin to set the tent up. Now were on the inside to complete our setup. Most trucks are equipped with cleats here and here, in which case you take the green straps and hook them on the same cleat and the red straps and hook them on this cleat on the back and then you tension it up so that this seam is lined up with the top rail of the truck. This truck unfortunately does not have cleats but that is not a problem. We can still set the tent up properly. In this case you take the two green straps and hook them together and then tension here. And in the back, you take this red strap here, drop it down through the groove of the tailgate, lifting the tailgate slightly and dropping it down and then balancing the tension. You want to balance the tension between these inside straps and the black straps on the outside. Very simply done just pulling on this. If it looks like rain, you are going to want to put rain fly up. You will notice you have to clip on each side and fasten it to the attachment point here. Then well go around the other side and well snug everything up so we have a nice taut rain fly. This is probably a little difficult to see. This truck does not have a sliding window but if your truck does, you have got this handy cab access sleeve. You will notice that this one protrudes from the tent, through the fly. You have got two sleeves here, and this can attach up so you have access between the tent and the cab truck. The first time you set it up it will take a little bit longer, but once you have got it set up and all your straps are the proper length, you can simply put it in position and clip it altogether. Very quick and easy.
