Great service from start to finish! Product arrived sooner than expected. Fits perfectly and it was extremely simple to install. Tailgate is for 2005 Chevrolet Silverado HD - adds a professional quality appearance. Previous tailgate stolen due to unavailable locking mechanism. Current one, with lock, answers my requirements when pulling 30 ft. 5th wheel RV. Thank you for outstanding service.64975

Good Product Purchased this tailgate and have been very happy with it. I was a bit taken back when I found that it was molded plastic over a welded frame but it has held up well. It is easy to install and remove and really makes it much easier to couple and uncouple the trailer. The only negitive that I will mention is that I could not get it to fit real snug when latched, it does have some play in it even after adjusting the latching mechanisms. I can't say if this is the tailgate or my truck. Overall it is a good tailgate.3986

• How to Determine the Difference Between the New and Classic Body Styles for a 2007 Chevy Silverado
  
• The easiest way to tell the difference between the 2007 Chevy Silverado Classic and New Body Style is the tail gate or the tail lights. The new body style will have a large Chevy bow tie emblem in the center of the tail gate. It will also have red tail light assemblies.
