Today we are going to show you the HitchMate cargo stabilizer bar for full-size pickups, part number HE4016. Pickup truck beds are great because they offer plenty of storage space for hauling your gear. Unfortunately, sometimes that gear can slide around and move around inside of the bed. The cargo stabilizer bar is going to allow us to secure that gear and keep it from moving. First we are going to take our cooler and put it up in the corner of our bed where we want it. To release the ratcheting handles that we can adjust our tube to fit our truck bed, we will pull back this silver latch and pull the handle all of the way out of the way. We will take our bar and place it up against our cooler and press the foot firmly against the wall of our bed. We will expand our tube and get the other foot to make contact with the opposing wall of the bed. Now that we have it in position, we will grab our ratcheting handle, close it and our silver latch will catch. Now our cargo stabilizer bar is locked in position and we are ready to go.
